Two years had passed and everything changed. The only permanent thing in our world.
CHANGE.
Thanks God, because Mom is now better and starting to cope up. She's the one now managing our computer shop and opened a tutorials for our neighbourhood that would provide a living.
As I continued to walk around the square plaza, I accidentally bumped into a greek god. Those hazel eyes, his firm posture and broad shoulders were intimidating. He stared at me as if he will ripped me apart because I touched him.
"Idiot." Damn, this guy is rude.
I smirked and apologized with pure of sarcasms. He raised his brow and brushed his arm with mine as he passed me.
That guy was rude. Very unmanly.
I was going to shout at him when I noticed his ID on the floor.
Alonso Hidalgo III.
A very familiar name. But I don't know where I saw him or heard his name before. But his surname was really familiar.
When I searched for him to give back his ID, he's nowhere to be seen.
My phone buzzed.
It's my boss scolding me because I'm very late for work and there's a lot of customers because it's summer.
I did running and walking, until I reached the shop door.
I work as a cashier. I'm fortunate, because my boss is kind and didn't know how to get angry.
Well, he'll just keep on scolding us like a kid.
"Lee.." It's Rex, the only one who calls me that way. He is my boss, he is two years older than me.
I don't know how to describe our relationship, it's like he's mine but it's not. It bothers me but I don't want to ask him what I am to him. I'm afraid that the relationship we have, might be ruined because of what I'm feeling. I guess it's just an infatuation.
"Can you do me a coffee and send it to my office?" I nodded as an answer.
He turned his back and Penny walked right to me and teases me. She knew it, even I didn't told her.
Girls instincts, I guess.
Rex is kind and easy to talk. He's an archaic but he does it so well. He can be the man of my dreams but I know there's something wrong about it.
"Stop it Penny. Go to work." I lazily said and shooed her.
"Fine, sweetheart." She winks and goes to her area.
Penny is month ahead than me, she's taking Accountancy. She's bubbly, but easily get to piss.
I suddenly remember Agatha's playfulness to her.
Agatha and Fiasco dated, then they became a couple they lasted and recently I heard that they broke up. Fiasco broke up with her because he got bored to the sweetness and kindness of Agatha. They should know how to value a person, before they lose it.
Agatha went to Manila to study there, I didn't heard anything about Fiasco again. I wonder where that jerk is.
I heard the door chimes, a customer. Not just an ordinary customer. This one is the rude guy I bumped in a while ago.
I immediately get his ID in my pocket.
"One black coffee." He said with full of authority.
"Here's your ID, you drop it." I put his ID in the counter. I cleared my throat and I wrote his order.
