Wednesday
"Is Finn still bothering you?" Annie said. We were laughing for a moment but then things began to be serious. She was sipping her coffee after school. We were sitting on the school bench with her black Prada bag and her hair braided onto one side. We both know that Wednesday is our day, only the two of us, free from boys, free from school but of course we got to talk about our ups and downs.
I moved myself and tried to sit comfortably "Not anymore, thanks to you A."
"Of course that's what sisters do anyways." She said smiling at me. A smile that could light up any person in the world. She's my best friend since we were not even born yet. My partners in crime.
"How about you how are things going on with your mom?" I asked her.
Her faced turn down "Same thing, multiple guys stay in our house. Ever since dad left me when I was just 3 she just can't stop dating guys."
"Don't worry Annie we'll get through this together." I assured her. She hugged me and I hugged her back. Although I never got a chance to tell her that Charlie and I are seeing each other. By the mean of seeing is not dating we're just literally seeing each other. I doubt it if Charlie even look at me the way I look at him.
A goth guy passed trough us looking at us while hugging. He has a lot of piercing all over her body. "Go away weirdo!" Annie said
I chuckled knowing Annie is being Annie. Nothing changed.

Wednesday
"You're finally home son!" Dad said opening his arms as I get home from school. He was cooking something slicing up some onions that made his eyes turned red. School was totally exhausting with all the homeworks and group projects. Nathalia wouldn't stop reminding me that I need to go to her house later. She's still stubborn as ever.
"Dad." I said hugging him back. When we both let go of each other he saw the look on my face.
"What's the matter did you fail your test in English again?" Dad jokes.
"Dad? Don't use my weakness in essay writing for this." I said. Dad knows that I hate essays especially writing them. It's my weakness writing can make me miserable as ever.
"Okay so what's up?" He asked and he's back slicing up some onions
"I got to tell you something but promise me you won't startle out?" I said
"'Startle' since when did you used that word?" Dad said.
I wanna answer with "Since I started talking to Nathalia my vocabulary seems to be approving"
"Dad just listen." I said instead.
"Alright, alright." He said raising his hands up
"Remember, Ms. Olivia Laurent?" I started
He faced me crossing his arms "She isn't dead, is she? Oh no I should've told her I still love her! She's the only sensible and beautiful woman I ever dated!" Dad said
"Calm down, She's not dead!" I exclaim
His face was embarrassed and then he started to clean off the edge of the knife by the sink.
"What about her then?" He asked
"I am dating her daughter." I finally said. First of all Nathalia told me to tell my dad that I was dating her even if it's not the truth! Nathalia said that it would be better if they will think that we are. They would sooner or later give a proper end and good byes to each other.
"You are dating Nathalia?! She's like a daughter to me!" Dad said
"Yes but not your biological daughter. You should be happy for us but that's if you still have feelings for Ms. Laurent."
"No... not at all. Go on and date her whenever you like but I would like to have dinner with her and Olivia." Dad said. Nathalia is right her mom and my dad have the same reaction. It's one thing that they're common about that's why they started in a relationship back then.
"Dad?!" I said
He can't go dinner for tonight I'm helping Nathalia for Math. Nathalia is going to kill me.
"That's a deal. we're going." Dad said
You can't argue with dad. Dad is dad. You can't get your way out of this, Charlie. I said to myself.

Wednesday Night
After I hang out with Annie. Tyler invited me and Kylie to grab some lunch near his house. Tyler keeps on asking us some advice about asking Mary-Ann out and of course Kylie was the one answering it all. Although some of her advice doesn't make sense at all. When I got home I was waiting for Charlie to come for him to tutor me again. I learned quite things but I'm still not good at it. Gosh, I remember the competition is on Saturday. I'm not going to make it.
The door bell rang and I just realized I've been sitting on the couch for one hour after Tyler and Kylie dropped me in my house. Mom as usual is doing some paper works and our maids cooking for dinner. I've been sitting on the couch for the whole hour wearing my school uniform. Before I opened the door I fixed my hair and finally opened it. There I saw Charlie with his dad.
"Oh Charlie, you must've forgotten to tell me Mr. Fernandez would be here." I smiled sarcastically.
"Nice to see you again Nathalia, you were just a little girl when I last saw you but your blonde hair is still there which is a good thing." He said
I faked laugh realizing how could I forgot the sense of humor of Eric Fernandez, my mom's exboyfriend. I let them enter giving a warning look to Charlie.
"Mom's in the kitchen if you would like to see her, me and Charlie here have some catching up to do." I said and so as Mr. Fernandez, Eric went to the kitchen
"Why is he here?" I asked Charlie
"I'm so sorry he insisted." Charlie said. His face was filled with sadness just the same face I saw when we were 10 when he knew we will never see each other again. I can't help but I put my hand on his cheek without saying a thing. He was surprised and he looked into my eyes as if he was looking right through my soul.
When all of a sudden... "Nathalia, your mom's not here!" Eric shouted.
