Peggy Schuyler walked though New York. Since Angelica went off the London, and with Eliza taking care of the kids, she's been lonely. The streets bustled with people and car horns honked at each other. Just a normal day in New York City. She walked down Time Square occasionally get glances from passing by men, but she just ignored them. A man by the name of Stephan Rensselaer walked by her and immediately grabbed her hand. This was the man that had bought her a drink the other night. "Peggy" he began. " I told you, only my friends and family call me that. My name is Margarita Schuyler." Peggy snapped. She was getting pissed at this guy. He kept trying. Peggy had to admit, he was kinda cute. But thats beside the point. The man looked at her. " Margarita, please give me a chance. Let me take you out to lunch or to get a drink somewhere." Stephan pleaded. Peggy thought for a moment and then gave her answer. "Fine I'll give you a chance. But just one date." She finished. He smiled in relief. "I'll pick you up around eight. What's your address?" He asked. She gave him her complex since she lived in an apartment. She would wait out side.
The rest of the day went uneventful. She walked back to her apartment and even though a taxi offered her a ride she refused. It was kind but she just loved to take in the city at its fullest. She shoved her hands into her pocket and looked around. Despite the noise and crowd, she loved New York and the culture with in it.
-time skip to 7:30-
Peggy stood in front of her full size mirror and looked at her self. She wore a yellow dress that went passed her knees and had a flower satin like texture. She wore black flats and her hair was up in a kinda good braid. She didn't bother with makeup. She looked at the time and sighed. She plopped down on her couch and turned on 'Food network ( IDK) and watch people scurried around the kitchen.-another time skip cause I'm lazy-
Peggy was waiting outside at 7:56. She watched as the city came alive with lights. A silver car pulled up and a window rolled down to reveal Stephan wearing mostly casual clothes. "Hey! You look nice, Margarita." He said as he opened the door for her. She took a seat and strapped herself in. "So, where do ya wanna go?" He asked and looked at her. She shrugged." I don't know. Maybe somewhere up town." She replied. "I know a great Italian place up there." Stephan replied. He started to drive. It was awkward silence so Peggy broke it "So... what do you do for a living?" She asked and looked at him. "I work at the bank. I fill out papers." He replied. "Ah! So does my brother-in law. He wrote the federalist paper." She said." What do YOU do for a living?" Stephan asked. " I'm a part time nanny for my sister's kids." She replied. Eliza looked after her and payed her more significantly then any nanny would get. "Other than that, I'm a secretary for Tomas Jefferson." She said. More silence. They finally got to the restaurant. They sat down to order. "So tell me something about yourself.." Stephan asked.
-time skip cause why not-
They talked and laughed an each other. After the meal, they walked over to the park right next to the restaurant. They sat down on a bench and talked a bit more. "So did you enjoy tonight?" Stephan asked and looked over at Peggy. "Margarita?" "Call me Peggy." She replied and smiled at him. "So what are you doing next Saturday?"-Thanks for reading. Sorry for all the time skips. I'm so uncreative.-
