'Mom I am home' came Radhika's voice...but in turn she was greeted  with silence....this was the first time that Mala didn't respond to her younger daughter's call...Radhika shrugged her shoulders and walked inside her house calling out for her mother....she opened the bedroom door slowly....but the sight drained blood out of her body....she choked....their was blood all around ....the room was deshlved and there was her parents....in the pool of blood...Radhika lost her balance..she crashed on the floor fear pain shock gripped her body....she sat there breathing hard..then....she wiped her tears and crawled to her father; ''P....Papa...please ....I am scared....ma.....'' Radhika suddenly recalled her sister and ran to the room she shared with her sister...''Di.....'' but it looked as if silence has befriended her house.....Riddhima's lifeless body was lying on the bed ...her clothes torn....and a knife in her abdomen.....her young eyes had seen too much....Radhika held her head and all turned dark....and when her eyes opened again...darkness was her fate....she was a juvinile but the sole heir of Dilip Mishra.....vultures in name of family jumped on her...tearing her apart....she accepted everything thinking it to be her fate

One such day Radhika was sitting in the storeroom...trying to get some sleep...even when her mind refused to rest her tired body gave up....somewhere in the middle of the night Radhika felt some weight on herself....a hand roaming her body...she jolted up...it was cousin..Saral...she was sister to him...how could he ...Saral; ''easy Radhika....I promise to be gentle...just once...'' Radhika knew it wasn't time to give up she pushed him and ran to the door....but the young teenager was no match for a grown man....radhika tried all....she cursed her fate...as said destiny favours the brave....her eyes fell on the scissors on the table....she picked it up and pierced Saral's thigh with it...next...what she got was cruelty at its peak ....she was brutally thrashed by her aunt...who called her an ill omen...Radhika was caned badly...lying lifelessly on the floor....she whispered; '' God...why are you keeping me alive....ma I miss you....please ma...come back''

Well her prayers were answered...Nihal barged into the house next day when her relatives decided to marry her off to a 50 yr old....Nihal's rage was like a fire that punished Radhika's tormentors bad....Prerna lifted the lifeless body of the 15 yr old girl ..in her arms...she was dressed in a bridal attire...but her body was decorated with marks instead of jewels ...Prerna hugged her.....Neil walked in he consoled his mother lifting Radhika up....that day Radhika got her Savior....her best friend her buddy...her AD...

Morning

Radhika opened her eyes coming back to present....she scratched her head....why was her pillow so hard...she looked up and smiled there was her AD....sleeping in sitting position...with her head on his lap...Radhika understood...he might have come when she was having a nightmare...Radhika sat up straight watching him....Neil smiled; ''what little one''

Radhika; ''I am thinking...what are you my Adopted Dad or Mom...''

Neil; ''whatever you like my little doll....now we have to go for Edwards's wedding  today ....so doll up''

Radhika; ''So who is going as your date today''

Neil made an innocent face; ''you....I always watch your back...you will watch mine....save me from those scavenger girls..'' Radhika laughed jumping out out of the bed....Neil smiled and walked out of the room...
