Radhika looked at the no. of assignments she had got ...she chewed her nails...pulled her hair and then walked into Neil's room; ''I don't want to study''

Neil looked away from his laptop...she was standing at the door with a pout...Neil smiled and tapped the empty place on the bed next to him....Radhika jumped on bed...Neil; ''Who asked you to take architecture ''

Radhika; ''I wanted to be like you..Ad''

Neil wrapped an arm around her; ''Birdie you are much better than me...you can do all you want to do...''

Radhika; ''why do you believe me in me so much''

Neil; ''because you are my Birdie and I am your AD...right little one''

Radhika nodded vigorously like a child...; ''Ok since you are my AD....please help with my assignments'' Neil smiled closed his laptop dragging Radhika to her room...Neil watched Radhika's table; ''Did you just had a fight with someone''

Radhika; ''No I was studying''

Neil; ''Turning room upside down'' Neil started arranging the stuff ...in 10 min the room was clean again, Radhika watched him doing all...He never cribbed when it was about her...at times she would wake him up in the middle of the night ..because she couldn't sleep and he would just smile engaging her in  different topics gradually putting her to sleep....Radhika recalled how he took care of her in London , her nightmares..sickness..her fears ..he handled all...Nihal was her legal guardian to the world,  but Neil was her real guardian in every sense ...Neil looked at Radhika; ''now come here and tell me about your assignment''

Radhika; ''AD....why are you never tired of me''

Neil; ''because you are my best friend''

Radhika; ''AD do you do this for all your friends''

Neil; ''No only for my Birdie...she is special''

Radhika; ''Or weak...scared ..needy''

Neil watched her for a moment; ''Being scared weak needy is being human...if you are that so am I...I am weak for my loved ones...I am needy for your time and I am scared to lose your friendship....Birdie....I have very few friends....because most of them befriended my status and money...but you befriended Neil....Only Neil... this is why you are important....Now stop your emotional ranting ...because this time I am not falling for your drama to get the assignment done by me...I will help and you will write...''

Radhika huffed dramatically; ''Tch an Oscar winning performance got wasted'' Neil twisted Radhika's ear asking her to focus on the assignment...After 2 hrs..all assignments were done , Radhika was happily snoring sprawled on the bed....Neil gathered her books and sheets arranging them properly on her table...he pulled a comforter over Radhika , Neil switched off the lights walking out of the room after giving one glance to her sleeping form...

Mehra Mansion

Arjun was looking at the sky it looked beautiful..stars decorated it beautifully...Arjun's eyes moved from one to other ...each had their own twinkling beauty ...Arjun never took pain to notice the night sky ...nights were only to party and fun but today he did...his mind was itching to look for something to which he could compare Radhika with...but all that he looked fell flat on his expectations..Radhika was just flawless ..he had met many beautiful girls...some whom he could call extraordinary...but Radhika was something else....her silence spoke million words...he big brown eyes were nervous yet captivating....her lips were like lotus petals...Arjun closed his eyes throwing his head back...he inhaled deep opening his eyes at the sky; ''Wow so this is what you call as breathtaking....what are you Radhika....where are you from...do you even belong to this world...I have never seen something so elegant so fragile ... you look like a glass doll...I felt I would scratch you if I touch you...''
