Epilogue

"Get up or I have other ways of waking you up.'' Radhika slapped Arjun's butt rather hard than normal. He rubbed it a bit before snuggling deeper into the mattress.  Radhika stared at his sleeping figure with hands on her hip. They were getting late for the party, it was their first anniversary and first birthday of NeSam's daughter. 

''Radhika, we are getting late.'' Nandini called out. Radhika smiled , walked to the refrigerator in her room and pulled out an ice tray. She took out few cubes and others she transferred it to a tumbler pouring water in it. She warned him once and then did the double attack. She inserted few in his shirt and poured the water on his face. Arjun jerked up shivering, ''Do you want me dead?''

''For now , I want you out of your bed. If you don't leave it now, I might think about killing you too.''

Arjun made a puppy face, ''Party is in the evening.''

''We are family, the celebration starts now.'' She warned. Arjun huffed dragging his body out of the bed. He kept stomping like a kid and then came and stood in front of Radhika, giving her a puppy look, ''I am sad, give me a hug.''

Radhika pressed her lips to hide her smile. In last 3 years he had started behaving more like a college going guy than an adult , but secretly she loved the attention and love he showered on her. He acted possessive, lovable, kiddish, friendly and mad at the same time. 

She made a serious expression, locking her gaze with him, ''We don't have time fro drama, get ready. She is your niece too.''

''Its our anniversary, we deserve some me time.'' He said curling his lip and pulling her closer by waist. He buried his face in her neck. He planted feathery kisses long the length of her neck and shoulder, ''Don't you think we deserve some private time. Its our special day too.''

Radhika wrapped an arm around him and the other she pulled his hair seductively. She felt him smiling on her skin. She knew he was under impression that she fell for his words. She smiled and then tighten her grip on his hair pulling them hard, ''Anniversary! Since the day I married you, we have been celebrating hourly daily, weekly , monthly anniversary. Last night was nothing less than a celebration.'' Arjun smirked. Radhika rolled her eyes and then added, ''Its her day, and Sam has really worked hard for it. I am not missing it. You have 10 min Arjun Mehra or we go without you.'' Arjun made a sad hurt face, she just glared at him pointing to the door of the bathroom. Huffing he just gave up.

''Cake!!!'' That was the only word the little princess of Melhotra House had been reciting since morning. Sam have had a hard time feeding her since morning. The little girl had been excited about the decoration in the house. '' Dada ...Cake!!!'' She walked to Neil with her small bowl extending it to him. Neil smiled lifting her up, ''Cake in evening, now finish your apple. Be a good girl.''

She refused shaking her head vigorously. Neil tried to reason, but had to let go when the girl gave a deafening scream of excitement running to the door, ''Chasi....'' Radhika opened her arms to collect the little bundle in her arms, ''How is my little Radhika doing?''

''Cake!!!'' She said and then complained about everyone in the house. Radhika pecked her cheek,'' I got you two, go have.'' The girl squealed holding the box, which seemed to heavy for her, refusing to hand it over to anyone. 

Radhika ran into Nihal's open arms, ''Dad, I missed you.'' Nihal kissed the top of her head, holding her a little longer. He missed her a lot more than he could express in words. ''I never asked, why did you name her Radhika. Sam must have had some dreams and choices regarding her daughter's name.''

Nihal cupped her face, ''I know I am selfish, but I wanted someone to answer when I took your name. I will never be ready to part from you my princess.'' Radhika hugged him again. He had been a father any girl would die to have. He stood with her at every step, never judging her.
