Chapter 11, Plan To Save

Lucy's Pov, 

The next day I was learning about the war with the Reapers. Igneel was impressed with my plans for future fights with them. Natsu on the other hand was smirking slightly with the idea of ending many Reaper lifes. Once we finished speaking about possible attacks for the future I greeted Nash home from his training with Erza. I was shocked when Erza sent me a message about how Nash and Reiki finished training in just one day when normally it should of taken three days. Nash was telling me about how powerful Erza was and how he was shocked.

I was smiling listening to him as Natsu soon joined hugging me from behind and kissed my cheek. "Erza is the most powerful angel to ever live we are lucky to have her on our side" Natsu soon spoke as it reminded me of some of the talks from before. There was a 40% chance that the Reapers would team with the Angels even with Mard Geer dead that team up would be very powerful with them both being able to power each other. "Reiki has a really strange mix of vampire and angel power it can be confusing" Nash soon mumbled.

"He has his fathers way of using a type of magic but his mothers way of weapons. That is even more worrying for if that kid has Erza's temper" Natsu only mumbled as I shook my head slightly. Of course he would think that way. "Anyway Erza said she was coming to speak to you later mum" Nash then informed me as I nodded he soon ran off after Natsu mention gifts for him in his room. I looked at Natsu confused. "Gifts?" I asked as Natsu smirked slightly. "You will see" Natsu only answered as I raised an eyebrow.

Natsu soon turned me around to be fully facing him as he kept me close to him. I couldn't help but smile as he gave me a quick kiss. "Plus somehow got to get Nash to agree on the wedding plans" Natsu then mumbled making me laugh. Nash was being annoying when it came to Natsu and Igneel trying to speed up wedding plans for me and Natsu. I did very much learn that when mates marry both their powers get a huge boost. Then again I was noticing that Nash and Natsu were fighting to see who could get more attention from me.

They do that very often. Both being very alike. They did have times when they got along. It was really nice to see when they did. "I better get ready to see Erza" I soon spoke playing with Natsu hair slightly as he nodded. He gave me a quick kiss before moving his mouth to my ear. "Just wait until Nash goes out on training again Lucy" Natsu soon whispered making me bite my bottom lip as a small chill went down my back. Natsu moved away smirking as he was still going to tease me like before.

He soon walked off headed toward the throne room. I moved toward my own office as I knew Erza would just show up next to me with her angel guard thing. I never fully understood it. My mind soon was onto my grandfather, Acnologia. He may of been gone for now but he could come back at any moment. He could hurt or worse kill Nash. I put my hand on my necklace that once belonged to my grandmother hoping and praying she would give me some words of wisdom or anything to help out.

Once I sat at my desk Erza showed up in front of me. "So you got the information on the Reaper War?" Erza asked as I nodded she soon sighed as she pulled a letter out of her pocket and passed it over to me. I took it and noticed my name was written in Mirajane's handwriting. I opened it up a little confused but if it had any hints on beating the Reapers in the war...

Dear Lady Lucy,
If you are reading this I was super right on Natsu liking you and will turn you into his mate. But with reading this it means I died protecting you or fellow Reapers that I had pissed off had found me. If you remember the bracelet I had given you many years ago it had a baby blue bead. In that bead is my second soul. Breaking the bead over my dead body can bring me back to life. Reaper bodies do not decay like humans. I hope Erza keeps her promise in giving you this letter and please Lady Lucy... Don't think to little of Reapers in their homeland they are more powerful there and with their emotions...

I was staring at the letter shocked slightly as I then got up looking at my arm to see the bracelet she had gotten me. It was sliver chained with the baby blue bead on the side, around the bracelet was stars. I normally thought the bead was meant to be the moon but it seems it was more important than I thought. "Where is Mirajane's body?" I soon asked looking toward Erza who was confused. "The Reaper's world" Erza soon answered as that was going to be a problem. "We have Mirajane's ticket to coming back to life" I soon explained.

Erza's confused look soon turned into a shock one. "Even I know Natsu would not send you to the Reaper world. Not after just getting you back" Erza soon crossed her arms as she had a point. Natsu was protective before with what happened... With me and Nash being taken from him, I could see that he was much more protective now.  "Let me deal with Natsu, Erza get a team together" I then spoke as she nodded and left the office. Now I had to think on a way to get Natsu to let this plan be in action.

I soon started thinking. Mirajane was a important Reaper. If I just told another Reaper that I had her 'second soul' they could of helped us. I soon left the office to see Nash running over to me. "What is with that type of look?" Nash soon asked as I was then confused. It soon very much hit me that I felt like my old self. Inside I was excited to plan this rescue mission. I wanted to see how powerful the Reaper's really were. "I have a mission to get an old friend back" I soon answered as I used my hand to ruffle through Nash's hair.

He laughed slightly as I couldn't help but smile at him. As I thought about getting Mirajane back my mind went to my younger sister. My mind wondering if Natsu was able to get her back like I had asked him before. "Mum you look worried and pale now" Nash pointed out as I could hear that he was a tad worried. "I'm fine, Reiki should be somewhere around the castle with Erza here" I soon pointed out as some excitement grew up in Nash's eyes. He had never seen other kids his age until Reiki found him.

Nash soon ran off as he was most likely going to check outside. I then headed toward the throne room as my mind was on how to get Natsu to agree to the plan I was cooking up in my head. Once I got into the throne room I soon saw Jellal and Natsu. It looked like the two where auguring.  

My eyes widen seeing who was next to them....

  Jellal soon left the room most likely to find Erza and Reiki. "This mission will end up being very deadly" Natsu spoke looking toward me as I smirked slightly. "Be like old times then" I soon saw a slight smirk then grow onto Natsu's face. He moved closer to me, one of his hands going onto my back, pulling me toward him. My hands ended up going onto his shoulders as his other hand moved some of my hair behind my ear. "Seems My Lady hasn't lost her touch" Natsu spoke moving the hand that moved my hair to stroke my cheek gently.
