Chapter 30, Confronting

~Natsu's Pov~ 

I was worried as hell. Michelle had a worried look while everyone else was confused. "Something about your future wife you are keeping from us Natsu?" Erza asked a sword pointed toward me as I gave an annoyed tisk. "Lucy can keep what she wants from you lot, I just respect that" I then spoke as Erza sighed moving her sword away from me as Makarov had closed his eyes. "I knew her looks meant it, Acnologia's wife did have a child before Igneel killed her it seems" Makarov spoke as everyone but me and Michelle and Erza was in shock.

Soon everyone was looking toward us. "SHE'S RELATED TO ACNOLOGIA?" Mirajane shouted but soon looked toward Erza. "You knew as well?" Mirajane asked as Erza nodded sighing. "I forgot really" Erza spoke as Makarov crossed his arms. "She is not on his side, I saw by her eyes she wants him dead more than anyone so we shouldn't worry about it" Makarov spoke as I rubbed the back of my neck. "I wish my father saw that" I spoke getting a look from Makarov. 

"He thinks Lucy will turn into Acnologia and join him, he wanted to kill her before hand" I soon explained as Mira was screaming about marching to my father and beating sense into him. Soon Nash and Reiki fell through the door as it burst opening as the two boys were on the ground. "What I say about listening in Reiki?" Erza asked loudly getting her son to go slightly pale as I knew the poor boys fear. "Why does my grandfather want my mother dead because we related to some monster? I'm related to him does he want me dead?" Nash got up asking his question loudly.

"He thinks because you have the Dragneel genes you won't give into the bloodlust your mother has" I answered as Nash went quiet looking toward the ground in a worried look. "Nash?" I asked walking over to him getting on one knee and putting a hand on his shoulder. "Mother used to get covered.....she called it red paint......." Nash spoke in some fear as I turned my head to Erza who was trying to use her Angel Guard spell to get to Lucy's side. "Igneel has blocked me" Erza spoke worried.

"Crap if you can't then I can't" I spoke standing up as Nash looked at me with fear as I smiled toward him. "Your mother will be fine she can handle herself" I spoke as I knew Lucy was powerful now, I knew from the past she can handle a beating but could she handle my father? "Wait is your father here?" Erza soon asked walking to Reiki who nodded that was when Jellal came into the room followed by Lyon. "We was talking about the truce Lucy is setting up, it seems Angels have stopped all attacks on everyone" Jellal spoke.

Erza nodded as he walked over to Erza kissing her forehead. "You didn't check in, don't make me worry like that again" I heard Jellal whisper as Erza's face was the same shade as her hair. Reiki rolled his eyes as he and Nash walked up to Lyon looking toward him. "I ain't seen an Angel other than Rogue Aunt Erza" Nash spoke as Lyon was looking toward Nash and then me as I sighed nodding crossing my arms. "Well Rogue Angels have a different scent than normal Angels like myself" Lyon spoke as both boys nodded.

Both seemed keen to learn. "If Lucy is hurt I will be killing your father" Michelle soon spoke as I turned around to see her with her arms crossed, her eyes closed but a serious look on her face. "You would have to get in line for that" I replied as if my father did hurt her, in anyway.....There would be hell to pay

~Meanwhile, Lucy's Pov~

Igneel was glaring toward me as I only smirked closing my eyes. "I have to thank you for one thing Igneel" I spoke as I heard him slam his fist into the desk. "Thank me? I should be ending your life!" Igneel nearly shouted as I opened my eyes my smirk turning into a kind smile. "My grandmother wanted to die so thank you for granting her wish" I then spoke as he froze in shock looking toward me. "She didn't know Acnologia would turn like so, she didn't see her granddaughter turning into a monster like him" I then spoke my eyes watering.

"I just hope my son never finds out what I have turned into, I have tried so hard to not be like my grandfather and yet I enjoyed threatening Lyon the Angel leader, I enjoyed killing Jenny for the fact she was in on my parents being killed and god I enjoyed kicking Sting's and Rogue's asses" I spoke tears building up in the corners of my eyes as I truly was scared of ending up like my grandfather. I was scared of what my son would of thought of me if he ever found out what I did when I was human.

Igneel was in shock looking toward me. "Please just keep this from my son, whatever you want to say, whatever you feel or want to do just make sure he never knows. I don't want him to grow up to be like this" I then spoke looking right at Igneel into his eyes. What I saw was pity. "I basically became a monster soon as I agreed to make that contract with your son when I got the power to truly become a monster like him" I then spoke laughing slightly sitting down in the chair.

"Truly you want to confront me you want to hurt me, you want to show off your rage but in end I won't hurt my family, I love Natsu with all my heart, I would never let my son become this monster, I would never risk the Demon Kingdom in anyway but I do wish for one favor Igneel, one you won't mind doing" I then spoke watching Igneel sit down, he was in much shock at my words. He was trying to confront me but now I was confronting myself. "Kill me if I ever lose control of myself" I then spoke as his eyes widen.

"Natsu wouldn't do it, even if it was an order, my sister wouldn't dare and I would never want my son to go through that" I then spoke as Igneel took a deep breath closing his eyes. Taking all my words in, thinking it all through. "My son believes as long as your son breaths you can control yourself" Igneel spoke as I leaned back laughing slightly smiling getting him to open his eyes. "When Nash was born the first three years all my bloodlust was gone, everything that made me a monster was gone" I then spoke looking toward the ceiling.

"Then my grandfather made me kill anyone who came near the house the blood over me, I told Nash it was only paint.....As he was so young he would believe me, I hated every bit of it but after awhile I enjoyed it, he truly wanted me to be like him but I couldn't agree to his offer to murdering the Dragneel family and taking the throne. Because Nash was a Dragneel, Natsu is a Dragneel.....I am in love with a Dragneel, I had a Dragneel child, I was a Dragneel in a way" I then spoke looking at Igneel.

"I will fight this bloodlust, I will do anything for my family even kill my own sister for my son" I spoke as Igneel sighed shaking his head. "I sadly believe you, I will give you a chance to show me you are not like him" Igneel then spoke as he looked right at me smiling slightly as I nodded.

  "Yeah she is driving father crazy it makes me laugh" Storm replied with a giggle as I soon saw her mother hugging Gray's arm who was trying to be on guard. Many of the guards laughing at him slightly. "Those guards betters stop laughing before Aunt Erza sees" I spoke as the others agreed with me. Everyone was getting to their seats as my Grandfather and this Makarov dude was standing at the altar with the Angels Sherry and Lyon. Today also marked the peace treaty my Mother set up. I was taking a deep breath as I heard the music start.
