As you requested, I have continued this one from no. 15. Titles possibly coming soon. If I can think of any good ones! Sorry it got a bit meaningful and weird.

"I think that went ok! Do you?"

"Yeah they really seem to like you!"

You and Benedict had time to yourselves to unpack and talk whilst your parents had gone to their badminton club. They played every Friday evening since you were small and it was nice to see that a little part of your childhood routine was kept once you had moved away.

Ben was particularly chuffed that he had made a good first impression and a grin was plastered all over his face. Come to think of it, he looked quite mischevious.

"Well...?"

"Well what Ben?"

"Well can I see your bedroom?"

You hadn't even thought about it. Since your room was too small for two people, you were having to stay in your brothers old room, which was now a guest room. You dreaded to think what they had done to yours.

Benedict wiggled his eyebrows at you and snapped you out of your train of thought.

"Oh. Yeah. If you must. It's just next door but it's probably a store cupboard or something now."

He was looking at you eagerly. You knew he was waiting to nose through your stuff and tease you but why wasn't he in there already?

"What are you waiting for? I know you're dying to snoop through my stuff if it's there" You tease.

"Well I want you to be there too. It would feel like intruding if I was on my own and you know I'm a perfect gentleman who is repulsed at the thought of 'snooping'." Ben had put on a snooty voice and his face was contorted in mock outrage.

"Fine. Come on then," you say, giggling at his antics.

You lead the way and open the door.

Everything is exactly how you left it. You glance at your boyfriend and motion for him to go in. Right away he's in your book cupboard and you laugh and join him. You look at all your old favourites and the ones that got left behind because you had no more space. Out of all your packing, choosing which books got to come with you when you left was the hardest. You feel a sudden pang of sadness.

"What's this?"

Ben has found your old Jonas Brothers annual and started flicking through. It was the one that you'd drawn hearts all over. The one that was incredibly well-thumbed. And worst of all, the one that said 'Mrs Nick Jonas' in different styles of loopy writing on the inside cover.

"Do I have some competition? Hey wait, are you blushing?"

"Shut up!"

You could believe how embarrased you were. Everyone had childhood crushes but somehow your face still felt like it was on fire. You turn away to hide the redness but you feel Ben's arms snake around your waist. His head leans on your shoulder.

"Aww. Sorry love. What's up? Why are you crying?"

You were crying? You reach up and touch your cheek. It was wet where a tear had made it's way down your cheek. Being here had brought it all back. You love your new life with your job and with your boyfriend but right now it felt so wrong. Right now you felt like being a child again. You wanted it all back. You wanted to dance around in your pyjamas whilst you got ready for school and you wanted to stay up reading until after your bedtime and you wanted to fall in love with strangers you'd never met. This bedroom held the spirit of the girl you used to be. Not the person you are now.

"I'm just homesick now that I'm home. Stupid, huh?"

Ben turns you round to face him and his hand reaches out to stroke the side of your face. With his thumb he slowly wipes away a fresh tear.

"It's not stupid. We all feel homesick sometimes."

You wind your arms round his neck and hold on tightly. He felt like your harbour from the storm and as he held you everything clicked into place again. Even if you could go back now, you wouldn't. He was all you needed. You open your eyes and spot something on the dressing table behind Benedict. Your old diary. It held every precious memory since you were 10 until you moved out. That diary had all your favourite photgraphs, secrets and in-jokes.

You untangle yourself and look up at him. He was looking down at you, worry in his eyes.

"You ok?"

"Yeah. All better now. Sorry about that."

"No need to apologise."

"I have a feeling you'll like my apology present though."

You reach over and grab the tattered book. You hold it up so he can see.

"Are you sure you want to show me that? Looking through stuff is one thing but this is like sifting through someones brain."

"I want you to know everything about me. No secrets."

"I know everything I need to. Now get over here before your parents get back."

You kiss him and you decide that when you get back home you'll buy a new diary and fill it with all the new memories that'll be a hundred times better than the old ones. Why? Because you have Benedict with you to make them amazing.
