'What should we get?"

The two men cruised down the street not sure of their destination but plently sure of their goal.

"Hmmm, Oh! Want Chinese?" Nate suggests noticing a beautiful restaurant nearby.

"No I'm not really in the mood."

"Ok then, how 'bout shwarma?"

"Noo." Matt answered once again.

"Subs?"

"Ugh."

"Tai?"

"Meh."

"Mexican?" Nate says slightly desperate. Matt gave him a funny look.

"Like actual Mexican or taco bell?"

"Probably taco bell."

"Are you Trying to kill me?"

"OK. We'll go to The Big M and you can get a diet coke! How'd that sound!?

"That would do nicely." Matt agreed with a grin. "Although you don't need to raise your voice."

As they finished filling they're drinks and went to sit down Matt asked Nate quite the peculiar question.

"So... Who's the Quote on Quote Straight boy?" Matt raised a brow.

"What!?" Nate seemed to panic at his word choice.

"I heard you singing and I'm not dumb. I know music holds a deeper meaning for you and those lyrics weren't exactly veiled well." Matt took a sip of his crisp delicious diet coke as the man across from him tried to stumble out a reasonable answer.

"W-well I guess you caught me. There's someone, a guy, I kinda... Sorta... Like. A lot."
Matt perked up at this information and proceeded. "I knew it! It's alright, I won't pry you for to much info. Just tell me a bit about him!"

Nate was surprised at his friend, not only was he willing to talk about this but he wanted to know more. "If you insist man," he sat up slightly. "See he's smart, like really smart, like really really  smart! I swear it's like albert Einstein and Stephen hawking fucked and he was the result."

Matt made a strange face. 'not the mental picture I was hoping for ' he said under his breath. "What else?"

"He's also pretty oblivious, something could be right in front of him and he wouldn't even notice. He's arty, likes musicals, and a total super nerd." Nate look Matt dead in the eyes.

"He's into musicals! I like this guy already! Are you two a thing or?" Matt encouraged.

"NO! No no no no no!" Nate shook his head. "He's straight, or at least I think he is, he's told me about his ex girlfriend's but never any guy friends so I'm just assuming."

Matt nodded all the while and listened intently. He studied every word every phrase until he came to a conclusion.

"Well that settles it," He put his hands down on the table. "I'm gonna help you win over the guy of your dreams!" Nate's jaw dropped.

"What!? But I told you he was straight!"

"No you assumed he was straight. And as a theorist I hold a firm belief in 'assume nothing, question everything.'" Matt got up from his seat "Now let's go get you your man!" Nate sighed in defeat and followed him out the door.

"Oh boy."
