I decided to walk around this neighborhood for a while. If I go home momma might say something to me and I didn't want to talk to her right now. I huffed every time I kicked the bottle I'd been kicking for a few minutes now. The bottle rolled into a sewer hole attached to the sidewalk. I walked down almost every street until I seen a church. I stood in front of it for a while. I stared at the cross on the top. Then I started to walk again. I haven't been to a church in a while and I'm surprised I still know what one looks like. Brakes screeched and I forgot I had to be at my brother and sister's school in time. I ran. Just my luck. I was lost. It wasn't a bad kind of lost. It was a type of lost where a lot of things look the same. I ran and ran until I finally seen the street leading to the school I went to. I kept running. Then I couldn't run anymore. Everything went black... Then everything turned white. "Daddy?" I was seeing my father again. I don't know why but I seen him. In this white gown that kind of looked like a robe with his name written in gold. "Princess!" He looked like he was scared of me. He came closer and hugged me. "What are you doing here?" He looked up at a bunch of clocks on a wall. "It isn't time for you to be here!" I was scared. Why is he yelling at me and scared. "Da-Daddy where am I?" He started to cry. "Heaven. Baby you're in heaven." I started to cry. "I'm dead?" He looked back at the wall of clocks. "Something's wrong princess. Your clock is still ticking so you're not dead. Plus you don't have a robe like me" I wiped my tears. "I miss you daddy." He sighed. "I miss you too princess but you have to go back, ShaMiyah and Trenton need you. Look." With the flick of his wrist I seen my brother and sister with Ms.Townsend in a hospital room. "You were hit by a car on accident while you were running to get them". Trenton was on the side of the hospital bed holding my hand. "Go back and wake up for me princess." I hugged my father. "I want you to come back with me." He shook his head no and hugged me tighter. "Ke'Ladriah Amariah Wallace. It is your time to live. My time is already up. Don't take advantage of it. I will always be with you in your heart and watching over you, and I will always love you. Please go back for me." I nodded my head and wiped my new tears. "Okay. I love you daddy." He let me go. "I love you too." I heard all these machines beeping and my throat felt dry. "KeKe!" Trenton screamed almost scaring me back to sleep. "Nurse!! She's awake!!" Ms. Townsend's over excitement scared me and I laughed causing myself to get a headache. "I love you KeKe." I pulled him into the bed with me. "I love you too Trent." I looked up at the ceiling remembering my father's words. What a time to be alive.
