After I heard that story I felt sick to my stomach. How could she even have the audacity to replace my father. I didn't believe his smile from the moment I walked in the house. The way he looked at me with that want to be innocent smile gave me this weird vibe all through my body. The tension between me and my mother went unnoticed. I lost it. "How could you!?" Que's smile faded away and my mother flinched. For once she seemed scared of me. "Wha-what are you talking about KeKe." If she wasn't my mother we'd be having it out. God help me. "Don't KeKe me! You know what I'm talking about Angela! You just go out and meet a man and decide you're going to replace my father with him! My father would've never done that to you if you did for him what he did for you! He died for you! He died for us! Or have you forgotten that! ... You know, my daddy loved you and he probably wants you happy but for you to go and replace him is really low down for you to be a widow who ain't fully divorced. I wonder what's next Angela. But you! You ain't gonna be my step daddy and nobody can't replace my real daddy! So don't be coming up in here thinking you could ever try. Let's go Trent." I grabbed Trenton's hand and we walked right back out the door. We walked down to a park. My hiding spot. Nobody knew about it but my father. The only person I'd ever let know about it. I cried. Trenton wiped my tears and hugged me while ShaMiyah stood there confused. "No cry KeKe!" My sister came and hugged my leg while I sat on the swing and cried. "Stop crying KeKe. It's going to be okay. It's gonna get better." I knew that it was Trenton's voice I heard, but those words were coming from my father. I hugged them and we stayed there until it started to get cold. We walked "home" if that's what you wanted to call it. We decided we'd all sleep in my room. I closed my eyes and drifted of to sleep............
"Look, Walter I promise you man I would never out on a promise. If I said I was gonna have that money I'll have it man. Just don't hurt my family." Walter sat across from Keonté and had a gun on the desk due to his trust issues. "I've given you what I figured is enough time Wallace. I want my money. I love my money and if you can't give up what I love I guess I'll have to take from you what you love." Keonté got down on his knees and basically begged for more time. "Please Walter. Not my family man." Walter rubbed his chin hairs while looking at Keonté. "If you love your family you won't go home tonight to that precious family without my money being paid back Wallace." Keonté walked to a dark alley. He didn't have Walter's money and he couldn't go home because Walter would find him and kill his family so there wouldn't be any witnesses. Keonté hoped his family would forgive him. So much panic and pain ran through his body before he made his final decision then BOOM. Before you know it Keonté was gone.... Forever....
