"It's going to be okay baby, just show me what you got." My mom told me as she kissed my forehead and put a plate of bacon and eggs in front of me.
The last of eggs and bacon until she gets paid next week.
"Momma you not going to eat?" I asked her as she shook her head no.
"I'll be fine baby as long as you and your dad eat I'll be fine." She told me as I shook my head no.
"No ma I'm fine you eat, I have free lunch so I'll eat at school okay. I love you and I'll see you when you get off work." I told her as I kissed her cheek and she nodded.
"See ya later pops!" I yelled as I opened the door to leave the house.
"See ya son be safe!" He yelled back as I walked out the apartment we now live in.

Walking up the stairs from the bottom floor I went to walk to the school bus stop.
I waited for about five minutes before other kids came and the bus pulled up.
I didn't have much but I did have talent and I'm determine to make that count.
Sitting in the front of the bus because I didn't know anybody and nobody knew me.
Being the new kid so of course no one knew who I was.We picked up about three more stops before the bus was filled up with all of kids. I just looked out the window and didn't even move because I didn't wanna get picked on like I did at my other school.
Looking down at my beat up Air Force ones that I've had since two years ago I wished I could have another pair of shoes but I can't afford them.
I sighed and continued to look out the window then we pulled up to this huge school kind of like a campus.
If yall didn't know I came from Chicago Illinois and I am now in Florida.
