Justise Winslow
Remember all the times you would think back to bad times, or when you just wanted to end it all.
Maybe sometimes you thought if you just stayed for a little while longer it would get better.
"Hey what you doing?" Aerin came up behind me as I closed the book quickly and stuffed it under the bed.
"Nothing just about to get in the shower." I quickly said walking away.
"What's wrong with you?" She asked me as I grabbed a towel and shut the door.
I locked the door as she started to knock but her knocking faded away.
"Alright Justise, I'll go get food you hungry?" She asked me as I ignored her and I just turned on the shower and pretended to be in the shower.
These past couple of weeks here in Jamaica have been so-so.
It's been great to be away from Florida but at the same time aerin has been working my ever lasting nerve.
No matter where we go or what we do she has either an attitude the whole time.
Wants to argue.
And last but not least, wants to complain about any and everything. It's really annoying and I think me and her need some time apart because I think we've been up under each other way to much and it's not good.
So I plan to tell her today once I come out this bathroom.
"Hey Justise hurry up I have to pee."
"Okay!" I shouted as I turned the shower off and walked out the bathroom.
"I thought you we-"
"I changed my mind." I cut her off.
"Okay...." she dragged out as she went into the bathroom and slammed the door.
Shaking my head, walking back into the room we shared I laid down on the bed thinking about certain things.
Just life in general, but I'm really ready for college.
Aerin came out and I blew a breath out as I sat down on the bed.
"Okay so lemme talk to you." I told her as she came in between my legs and tried to kiss me but I turned my head, causing her to make a face.
"Okay so what's up." She said as she crossed her arms, shifting her weight to one side.
"I think we should just take a break." I said slowly as I saw her mood change.
She stood there quiet for a couple minutes before she slapped me and I pushed her into the wall.
"Don't put yo hands on me, you keep doing it and I'm getting tired of it." I told her through clench teeth and she started to cry, but I felt no remorse.
