Justise Winslow
Sitting across the street as I watched her walk into the school before I went in myself.
Aerin has been avoiding some for two weeks now and I really want to know what her deal was.
It's like when I call she don't answer and when I text her she don't respond. I did nothing after the night that her parents got back in contact I guess she kinda just left me in the dust.
Like I left her house that morning and I haven't talked to her since and I wanna know what's going on with her.
I followed her to our first block class which was English until somebody knocked my books outta my hand along with my glasses falling on the floor.
The person was about to step on them until this dude came and push the mess outta them picking them up handing me my glasses.
"What's wrong with you Brandon?" He questioned Brandon as I dusted the dust off my glasses and put them back on along with picking my books up.
"Man he a pussy ain't nobody worried about him Josiah." Brandon said pushing pass me as I just held onto my books tightly about to walk away until Josiah grabbed my shoulder.
"You good bro?" He asked me.
"Huh, oh yeah I'm fine it's all the time." I said as I looked at the clock I had three mins to get to class.
"I'm Josiah, and we are now friends don't let nobody push you around like that." He assured me.
"Alright..."
"See ya later moe." He said as he walked away.
I hurried to class and sat in the back like usually and started my warm up as I saw Aerin come in late with a black eye.
Is that why she's been avoiding me? Her mother or father beating her.
The whole class I kept looking at Aerin and every so often she would look at me and quickly look away.
Listening to the teacher talk about SATs made me sleepy but I needed to pass them so I stayed alert.
"Does everyone understand you will be taking your SATs in three weeks because they had to be rescheduled. All colleges know about this issue so do not worry about it going into colleges late." My teacher lectured as I wrote down the dates that this would all be taking place.
"Any questions?" The teacher asked as no one said anything.
"Will there be any reviewing in here or do we have to sign up for tutoring, during study hall?" I asked.
"We will review some in here but if you want to do well I advise you to sign up during study hall and get the help you need." She answered as some students wrote that down including me.
