Chapter 13

I'm woken by the sound of snoring in my ear making me pinch my eyes shut and rub them. When I open them I find that Luhan has snuck in here again and is wrapped tightly around me with his head facing me on my pillow.

When did he start snoring?

I reach over and plug his nose only to have him open his mouth wider and snore louder. I chuckle softly and let go before pinching his lips shut instead which makes it seem to gargle in the back of his throat. I stop and he goes back to a softer snore before I gently pinch his cheek.

"Luhan, good morning." I say as I carefully try to wake him up.

His snores stop before he smacks his lips and peeks his eyes open

"What?" He asks softly before shutting them.

"You're snoring in my ear." I chuckle before he opens his eyes more.

"What?" He asks before removing his arm that was around me and rubs his eyes.

"You were snoring in my ear." I repeat with a smile before he rolls his eyes and shuts them.

"I don't snore." He defends as he shuts his eyes and puts his arm back around me.

"Yes you do, and you're doing it right in my ear."

"Maybe you're snoring and woke yourself up?" He asks with a chuckle.

"No, I'm pretty sure it was you." I say before he sighs.

"Okay, I'll go back to my room." He says as he lets go but I quickly grab him.

"No, just sleep on your stomach instead of your side." I say before he climbs on mine and buries is face in my neck.

"Like this?" He asks with a chuckle while sliding his hands under my head and pillow.

"As long as you don't snore." I say as he wiggles around, trying to get comfortable, before pushing one of his legs between mine and puts the other on the outside of my leg.

"Comfy?" I ask as he nods before yawning a warm breath against my cool skin.

"It's really nice sleeping with you because you aren't hot but you aren't cold." He says as he presses his hot cheek to my neck.

"It's like flipping your pillow to the cool side, but you don't heat up." He sighs.

"I'm glad to be of service to you." I chuckle as he nods.

"I don't feel very good." He sighs before I push his hair back off his forehead to find he's pretty warm.

"Maybe you're getting sick?" I suggest before putting my hand behind his neck in hope of cooling him down a little.

"That feels good." He assures before I gently begin rubbing his neck.

"Let's see how you feel in the morning, okay?" I say as he nods and sighs against my skin again.

It turns out he was getting sick. A cold was going around at his school and that's what was causing him to snore.

So if I wasn't cooking him food, I was laying with him to keep his temperature down a little. He was right that I always do keep him cool because my body absorbs his heat and doesn't really give much, if any, out. I always did notice that when he was sick he wanted to cuddle with me, and being a vampire, I don't catch colds so he could cough and sneeze on me as much as he wanted without getting me sick. Other than it being nasty for him to do those things, I didn't keep him from laying with me because he said it made him feel better.
