Chapter 28

"Sehun!" Luhan whined against the taller chest.

"What!" Sehun whined back in a similar tone.

"Tell me already." Luhan groaned as the older rubbed the back of his neck.

Luhan had been waiting impatiently all day for his hyung to tell him what he mentioned earlier. He wanted to know and was fed up with his hyung distracting him with food and sex. It was late now, and Luhan was surprised Minseok hadn't gotten home yet but was slightly thankful for it. He assumed h is roommate was with his boyfriend which gave Luhan and Sehun more alone time together.

"I have to go away for a little." Sehun announces.

"W-what?!" Luhan asks as he pushes himself up so he can look at his Hyung.

"I'm leaving for a while. I don't know when I'll be back-"

"What do you mean you're leaving?! W-why why are you leaving? You just started coming back to me and now you're leaving?!!" Luhan said in shock as his voice got louder with each word.

"Luhan-"

"No! You can't do this to me-"

"Listen to me." Sehun said as Luhan got off his lap and pulled the bedsheets around his bare body. "I have to leave for a while-"

"Yes! I get that!" Luhan interrupted harshly.

"I'm being hunted." Sehun says which makes Luhan's eyes widen in shock.

"What?? Hunted!? Why are yo-"

"Listen to me, stop cutting me off." Sehun says sternly which quiets the younger.

"I haven't always been good, you have to understand that. I've been around for a long time, longer than you could imagine and I've done many things I'm not proud of. I've always been moving every few years, but you've kept me here. Now it's time I moved for a while again. I need to lead them away from here, away from you-"

"Take me with you then! Then we can be together and-"

"No, I'm not bringing you with me." Sehun objects.

"Why not?" Luhan huffs.

"I want you as far away from this stuff as possible. I won't let there be any connections between us for them to find. I'm doing this to protect you-"

"You aren't protecting me by leaving me!" He yells as his face and chest become hot with anger.

"I'm not expecting you to understand-"

"You're right! I don't understand! Why can't you just take me with you?!" Luhan says as his eyes begin to burn.

"If something happens and I need to get away fast I don't want to be worrying about you. I can't have you with me, you'll get hurt and I never want anything to hurt you-"

"Sehun! You can't just keep me locked away! Just change me and take me with you-"

"No, Luhan-"

"Why not!?" Luhan yells.

"Because you aren't ready!" Sehun yells much louder, shaking the younger from the sudden outburst.

"You're too young! I'll change you when you're old enough and that's final!" Sehun growls before a tear escapes Luhan's eye.

Sehun never yells at Luhan. Never like that. It hurt Luhan and made him feel shocked and embarrassed. He didn't like this feeling, and the moment Sehun touch his cheek to wipe his tear away but Luhan slapped it away.

"D-don't touch me." Luhan said bitterly as he stared at the bed sheets.

"Luhan-"

"No, no I'm done with this. I'm tired of you just.. just leaving me alone! Then once I feel like I'm fine, you come back and leave and make me miss you again! I hate missing you, I hate having to keep everything a secret! Sehun I want to be with you, I'm.. I'm just so tired of this!" Luhan confesses as tears slowly escape from his eyes.

"I know, Luhan, and I'm sorry. I'm sorry I had to drag you into this. and I'm sorry I can't be with you as much as you want-"

"Then change me, take me with you." Luhan begs.

"I can't, not right now." Sehun says as he gets off Luhan's bed and begins pulling his clothes back on.

"So, what?! You're just gonna leave me?" Luhan asks as he begins becoming angry once again.

"Luhan, I've never done this before! I have to-"

"You don't have to! That's the thing! You can take me with you, you should take me with you but you won't!" Luhan says as he too gets up and pulls his clothes on.

"It's not like that Luhan! If you were in my position you would do the same thing-"

"No, I wouldn't as a matter of fact!" Luhan says harshly as he follows Sehun out of his room while he finishes pulling his shirt on.

"Luhan, I'm not taking you with me, and my decision is final-"

Sehun says as he turns around to face the smaller. Luhan's face is bright red with anger and he feels tears getting ready to fall once again. He doesn't want to lose Sehun, he doesn't want him to leave and he hates that Sehun won't just change him.

He stares at the floor as he tries to figure out what to do, or what to say to make Sehun change his mind. Luhan won't take no for an answer, he isn't going to get left behind again, he won't allow it. Enough is enough and it was time Sehun changed him and took Luhan with him.

"Sehun, if... if you don't change me now," Luhan yelled as he glared on the ground, "then I never want to see you again!"

Immediately silence filled the air as the two stood there, Luhan unable to look at Sehun as he waiting for an answer.

"Okay." He heard Sehun's voice mutter softly.

Luhan quickly snapped his head up to find the older had disappeared out of sight which makes his heart drop.

"S-Sehun?!" He called as his eyes widen.
