Chapter 3
"What?" Rey says utterly confused.
"I rather not explain in our in the open. Anywhere we can go to get some privacy?" Ben, previously called Kylo, asked.
"Um yeah. Follow me," Rey says hesitantly. Rey stands up and walks to the back room. She sits down at the table, Ben sitting across for her. "So you said you needed my help."
"Yes. I'm being followed and I need help 'disappearing'," Ben vaguely explains.
"I know how that feels," Rey mumbles. "And why exactly do you need my help?"
"I only need one thing. A new identity."
"And how exactly am I supposed to do that?"
"Let me pose as your roommate. Only for a little while. I can pay rent and buy my own food..." Ben start off.
"I can't I'm sorry. How I know that you aren't a murder. I only just meat you and your asking me to let you in my apartment? I'm sorry but no," Rey says shaking her head.
"I know your terrified Rey. You can't sleep at night because of that man," Ben says with a smile playing on his lips.
"H-how do you know that!?" Rey whispers glancing around.
"I have my ways Rey," Ben says tapping his head. "There are so many things about you that you don't need to know and would regret learning.
"I swear if you were stalking me," Rey starts.
"No you just talk really loud in the phone." Rey rolled her eyes cursing herself.
"If you promise to help me I promise to keep you safe from this man," Ben offers up.
"Whatever," Rey mutters.
"Did I hear a yes," Ben ask with a smirk.
"Yeah. It's a deal. But I swear to god if you cross me in any way I won't hesitate to kick you out on he street and leave you for the people looking for you," Rey says with a serious tone.

"Poe can you come in here please!" Rey yells shouting the door behind her and Ben.
"Yes?" Poe says walking in to the living room. "Who's that?"
"Ben meet Poe. Poe meet Ben, our new room mate," Rey says with a small smile.
Poe's eyes grow wide. "A new roommate?"
"Yeah. I'll explain later," Rey says whispering the last part.
"Ben your bedroom is down the hall and is the first door in the left," Rey says pointing down a hallway.
Ben nods and heads to his new room. Rey turns back to Poe who ways standing there tapping his foot like an angry mother.
"Let me explain," Rey puts her hands up in surrender.
"I'd like to hear it!" Poe throws his hands up.
"Me and Ben have made an agreement. Ben is in some deep crap so I agreed to help him. Ben agreed to protect me from Unkar," Rey explains.
"But your perfectly safe!" Poe yells.
"Poe you know what happened last week. I don't it to happen again," Rey says quietly.
"But can we trust him?"
"I don't know. But I guess we'll find out."

"Thanks again for paying for the pizza," Rey says walking with Ben towards their apartment.
"Stop thanking me," Ben says rolling his eyes.
"I've only know you for a few hours and you're already an annoying little prick," Rey scoffs.
"Whatever, I guess it's your problem now," Ben says.
They walked in silence until someone came up behind Rey pushing her up against the wall holding a knife against her neck. The man turned and sneered at Ben.
"Come quietly with me Ren and I'll let your little girlfriend here go, " the man snarls.
"You see I was trying to have a nice night but then you come and decide to mess everything up," Ben says reaching for something in his pocket.
Ben pulls the man off of Rey and throws him to the ground. He steps on the man's hand hold the knife earning the sound of a cracking bone.
"Did Snoke send you?" Ben yells at the man.
"Who else?" The man laughs.
Ben punches him hard in the temple knocking him out.
"Come one Rey let's get home," Ben says grabbing her shaking arm. Rey slowly nods letting Ben guide her home.
"I shouldn't have gotten her into this. She doesn't deserve it," Ben mumble to himself shaking his head.
