Ben climbed into his bed and flopped onto his pillow. He put his head in his heads and sighed.

"It's been two days and all this has already happened," he says to himself. From the room over he hear a laugh. It was her laugh. Ben smiles to himself thinking about her stunning hazel eyes. Her beautiful brown hair that fell perfectly around her shoulders. And her smile that could... Ben mentality slaps him.

"She would never love you," he whispers to himself. "Especially if she knew your past." Ben pulls the covers up over him and let sleep surround him.

2 Weeks Later

"Ben why won't you talk to me!" Rey says annoyed.

"I am talking to you. Look I am right now," Ben says rolling his eyes.

"No you don't talk to me unless you have to! And the only reason you just talked to me was to ask for the plate of pancakes. Ben I've told you I'm fine. Unkar is in prison and I don't have to worry about it anymore. Plus what happened a few weeks ago wasn't your fault," Rey says getting slightly mad.

"It was my fault Rey! If I had been paying attention then none of that would have happened!" Ben whisper-yells at Rey.

"Fine take your god damn pancakes to your table and go," Rey yells at him.

Ben flinches back. I'm the few weeks he had known Rey never had she yelled like that. Ben set down the plate on the customer's table.

Ben walked to the break room and sat down at the small table. He buried his head in his arms.

"Get your head out of clouds Ben. They're going to find you soon enough. You can't fall for her, you're just supposed to protect her and that's it," Ben thought to himself.

Rey and Ben walked silently towards their apartment. Rey glanced over at Ben still fuming that he refused to talk to her. She abruptly stopped in the middle of the walkway.

"What are you doing?" Ben asks as he continues to walk on.

"I'm not moving until you talk to me," Rey says staying put.

"Oh is that right?" Ben says with a laugh.

"And the only way to get me to move is for you to start talking to me again."

"Or I could just do this," Ben says turning around and scooping Rey up in his arms. Rey let out a small yelp as Ben picked her up. "Come on princess lets go home."

"Call me princess again and you'll get it,"
Rey threatens.

Ben sets Rey down in the couch inside their apartment. Poe walks out of the kitchen shaking his head.

"Maybe you should just start talking to her," Poe says flopping down in the couch. "Oh and Finn is coming over for dinner. So pizza or Chinese takeout?"

"Pizza!" Rey and Ben yell in unison.

"Wow we finally agreed on something," Rey snapped at Ben.

"Whatever I'll be in my room. Come get me when dinner is here," Ben says stalking off to his room.

"What's his problem? He refuses to talk rob me and when he does he's got an attitude," Rey says throwing her hands up.

"I don't know but I guess it's your problem," says Poe. "I'm going to pick up the pizza I'll see you later."

"Ben pizza's here!" Rey yells as Poe and Finn walk in the door. "Ben I don't know if you've met Finn before but Ben this is Finn and Finn this is Ben."

They shakes hands and sit down on the couch. Everyone, except Ben, talk around about random things.

"So Ben where are you from?" Finn asks trying to start a conversation with him.

"I grew in D.C." Ben says blandly. "But I've moved around a lot."

"You've never told me that but then again you haven't talked to me for 2 weeks," Rey says crossing her arms.

"Well I have. Name a place in the US and I've probably been there," Ben says before taking another bit of pizza.

They continued talking for a while. Ben was leaning when he felt a pair of eyes staring at him. He looked around the room until he landed on Finn. Finn was staring intently at Ben. Suddenly Finn speaks up.

"Ben do I know you from somewhere?" Finn asks.

"I believe we talks once at the bakery," Ben says starting to get nervous.

"No before that. I believe we worked together once," Finn says leaning forward.

"And where would that be?" Ben says trying to sound confident.

"Oh I believe you know. And didn't you go by a different name? What was it? Oh yes Kylo Ren?" Finn says.

Ben's eyes grow wide. "I-I um you and..." Ben stutters.

"And would you mind telling my friends here what you do?" Fin says spreading his hands. Ben stays silent. "Why don't I just tell them if your not. His a murderer. Although you worked for the government he cannot be legally arrested. But tell them how you killed people for a living."

"Ben is this true?" Rey asks.

"It was he old me! I was forced! They would Jill my family if I didn't!" Ben says quickly trying to defend himself.

"I need to go," Rey says standing up. "And don't you dare come after me."

Rey runs out of the apartment to who knows where. Behind her Ben is following.
