You and Klayton have been living happily together for a little over a year now, with your little sister and her husband not too far away you were starting to feel like you finally made it where you belonged...little Hayley was growing like a weed, and was alway calling Klayton Daddy, which really made him proud...Criss and your sister were coming over a lot lately bringing Johnny over to play with Hayley, while you, Klayton, Criss, and his wife all gathered at the table to play some cards...even though everyone knew who was going to win...it was still fun to do.

You and your sister were talking about how very soon, Hayley and Johnny would be going to the school for toddlers, and how much Johnny and Hayley were excited about meeting new kids to play with...then your sister added how much she missed Criss for he worked very long hours anymore, and that she hardly ever got to see him...then you added that Klayton worked very hard too, but fortunately you got to be right there with him as he worked...with Hayley usually in his arms or on his lap...then you decided to bring up the idea of asking Klayton to marry you...your sister said that was the greatest idea ever...but you also added that you have been living with him, for so long, and that he never mentioned it...or acted like he wanted to talk about it...your sister thought about it for a moment, then said that Klayton would more than likely love the idea...but he was usually very quiet when it came to those kinds of conversations for he didn't like to be let down, when the girls tell him no.

You told your sister that you were going to seriously think about asking him...Criss called out for his wife telling her it was time to leave, that Johnny was getting a little cranky from wanting his nap...and he didn't have Hammie or his Believe Bunny to cuddle with...so your sister gave you a kiss on the cheek and a hug then said their goodbyes...then you looked in on Hayley and found her sound asleep on Klayton's chest snuggled up with Buddy on the couch...You silently grabbed one of the throw blankets, and laid it across them and went into the other room to start dinner...

Klayton woke up and carried his sleeping little angel and Buddy to her room to finish her nap...then he came back out and kissed you on the cheek and offered to help finish up making dinner...you gladly let him help...then you decided you couldn't stand the suspense any longer...and you asked Klayton how he'd feel if you asked him to marry you...Klayton had a long pause of silence...then wrapped his arms around you very tightly and said he would have married you a long time ago if he would have known that you wanted him too...You turned around and as you kissed him you told him in tears that you really wanted too...he placed both of his hands along your face and kissed you very softly and said that was great, and let's do it...but only if he was allowed to legally adopt Hayley....you jumped in his arms and said that was the best thing you ever heard...
