Unexpected Love

Chapter 19

It was dark and I looked at my cell. Sarah had called me several times but I sent them straight to voicemail. I didn't want to talk to anybody. I felt so hurt. So worthless.
I started crying again, the crying that made it hard to breath but was silent.
It was completely dark now and I didn't know where I was.
I saw a gas station and walked over. I was hungry and thirsty. I looked through the aisles and bought a tub of ice cream. When I got to the register the lady looked at me and rung me up.
" You ok?" she asked.
I handed her the money and tried to imagine what I looked like.
" I'm fine. You have a spoon?" I asked.
She raised and eyebrow but took my money, handed me a receipt and a spoon.
" Thanks" I mumbled, and headed out the store.
I walked around for a bit more, then once I realized I was completely lost, I sat down on a bench and began eating my ice cream.
Why didn't my parents want me? Why did they leave me with two complete strangers? How come I never noticed? I'm so stupid! I look nothing like them. Why would they even want me? Maybe they got bored of me. Like Caleb.
Tears started streaming down my face and I sat my ice cream down, pulling my knees to my chest.
Caleb. Oh I missed him so much. Even though I haven't seen him in a month I can still see him when I close my eyes. His grey eyes, with flecks of green and blue. That smile that showed all of his teeth making me melt. I opened my eyes because it hurt too much. I could remember his touch too. His lips against mine. The burning sensation I would get. They electricity running through my body when he touched me.
I shivered.
" Why did you have to leave me? What did I do wrong? I miss you. I need you" I whispered to myself.
I lied down, knocking the ice cream onto the ground and curled up into a ball.
" I miss you Caleb" I quietly said, before falling into a restless sleep.

I could feel somebody touching me.
" Caleb. I miss you" I said again, in my sleep.
I felt myself being picked up and I jolted awake.
The sky was still dark and I couldn't see the persons face. I started panicking.
Was I being kidnapped? We're they going to rape me?Murder me? My heart started pounding and I could feel that it was definitely a guy. He had strong, muscular arms and I could feel muscles underneath his shirt.
" Let me go!" I screamed, finally finding my voice.
The guy jumped but didn't let me go. He held on tighter to me and I kept screaming.
I looked around and remembered I was in the middle of no where.
I finally gave up screaming and the guy opened the side of his car and put me in there gently, strapping me in.
I couldn't see the car but when he strapped me in I smelled a familiar smell.
He closed the door and went to the drivers side and closed his door and locked it.
I was breathing hard and he turned on the light in his car.
I was blinded for a second but when I turned to him, I couldn't speak.
This must be a dream.
I rubbed my eyes and looked at him again.
" Ca-Caleb" I stammered.
