" What a nice surprise" I said, as I opened the door.
Caleb stood there and my heart skipped a beat when I saw him.
He was wearing brown shorts that went to his knees, showing off his strong calves, and a dark blue shirt.
He had a small cake in his hands and he seas smiling at me.
I let him in and led him to the kitchen. He sat the cake down and I looked at him curiously.
" What's with the cake?" I asked.
He shrugged and put his hands on my waist.
" From my mom." he said simply before kissing me lightly on the lips.
I smiled against his lips.
" Tell her I say thanks later." I told him.
I took him upstairs and let my mom know he was over.
My dad was out playing golf with a couple of his friends.
" Keep your door slightly open" she called from her room.
I blushed and murmured an ok before going into my room, making sure I left it cracked.
"So what's up?" I asked, lying across my bed.
I picked up a magazine and began looking through it.
" Just wanted to see you" he said, sitting down in one of my bean bags.
" Oh." I said, flipping through my magazine.
" I heard about this party that's tomorrow. You want to go?" he asked.
" What kind of party?" I asked, putting my magazine down to look at him.
He was messing with a picture I had of me and my mom and dad at Hawaii from a couple years ago.
I've honestly have never been to a party but pretended I have.
He set the picture down and looked at me.
" A house party. His house is as big as mine and he's known for the best parties. Music. Dancing. All that jazz" he said.
It sounded like a nice party.
I knew my mom would let me go if Caleb was with me.
" Why not. Who's is it though?" I asked.
" Steve's. I don't think you know him." he said.
" I think I do. Did he go to the movies with us?" I asked.
He nodded.
" Yeah. I mean I don't know what he looks like or anything but I know he's going out with Sarah" I went back to my magazine.
I heard him grunt something but I ignored whatever he said.
He got up and sat down next to me.
" So what magazine is so interesting that you can't make the time to put down while your amazingly hot boyfriend is sitting in your bedroom?" he asked.
He leaned over, putting his face in my magazine making me laugh and shove him away.
" Just some fashion magazine I borrowed from Sarah." I said, turning my attention back to the magazine.
He snatched it out of my hands and grinned.
" Hey! Give that back!" I exclaimed.
I reached for it but he quickly moved it to the other side of the bed.
I tried again and he put it over his head, grinning.
" Caleb!" I smiled but pretended to be agitated.
Since he was so tall and had long arms I had to get on my knees to try to reach.
He moved it to behind his back and I pouted.
" Caalleeb" I stretched out his name and reached behind his back but he pushed it further away.
" I like it when you stretch my name out" he whispered in my ear, grinning.
I blushed and kissed him on the lips softly and he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer.
I smiled and kissed his cheek, pulling away with the magazine in my hands.
" That's not fair! You distracted me." he stuck out his bottom lip but his eyes were twinkling.
He looked so adorable!
" You get distracted easily and you tease me easily." I grinned and opened my magazine back open.
He leaned in and kissed my neck ever so gently.
" You do get teased easily." his breath sent goosebumps down my arms and legs but pretended to ignore his touch.
He continued to kiss my neck and then down to my collarbone.
I bit my bottom lip to keep myself from making any embarrassing sounds and flipped my page casually.
He went back to my face, first kissing my chin.
Every time his lips touched my skin I shivered inside and he put a hand on my waist, stroking his thumb gently across my stomach.
He kissed my nose and then the corner of my lips, smiling.
" Don't act like you don't like it." he mumbled.
I frowned and flipped the page. He pulled me closer by my waist and kissed my forehead before pulling away.
" You know how to put up a wall when you want to." he said, looking at me impressed.
I closed the magazine and looked at him, with a smile on my lips.
" I know." I said.
" Don't get a big ego there. That's a huge turn off" he said playfully.
" You have a big ego" I said back, resting a hand on his chest.
" But it's sexy when I have a big ego" he said with a wink.
He took his free hand and intertwined our fingers on his chest. Our hands fell in sync with his breathing.
" And how do you know your sexy? Maybe in other peoples eyes your ugly." I challenged.
He looked in my eyes and raised an eyebrow with a smirk.
" You calling me ugly?" he asked, testing me.
" Maybe" I replied back, looking into his eyes.
He pretended to be hurt and tried his best not to smile.
" Ouch baby. That burned." he said.
" Would you like some ice?" I asked.
He chuckled and kissed the top of my head.
" If your lips are ice then I want an endless supply of it." he said.
" How cheesy" I mumbled but smiled.
" It's what I'm know for cupcake. Cheesy remarks and getting the girls." he said and brought my chin up with our intertwined fingers and landed a kiss on my lips.
I kissed him back softly then backed away and separated our fingers so I could wrap my arms around him and rest my head on his chest.

I looked around, trying to figure out where I was.
I saw the abandoned cafe shop and a Wawa. I quickly realized that I was near my school. The birds were chirping, the sun blazing down on me. I was surprised I wasn't sweating yet.
I tried to remember how I got there and saw one of the cars driving at the speed limit.
But as they were driving I saw a car behind them driving fast. I looked in horror as I realized that he wasn't slowing down.
The guy had his windows down and I shouted for him to slow down but he didn't look my way.
And in just seconds, the front of his car hit the back of the other car, sending them straight into a tree.
I screamed and ran towards the cars.
People were running out of the Wawa and other nearby stores. Some were staying their distance, calling 911 while others came rushing forward.
The guy that caused the accident ran out of his car and I saw blood dripping down his face.
My stomach twisted as he looked familiar but I ignored my gut and sprinted to the car that got hit.
Sirens were blaring in the background and when I reached the car I gasped.
I stood there frozen and all air got squeezed out of me.
There was a girl in the driver seat with blood dripping onto her shirt but she didn't seem to care.
She was crying hysterically and screaming at the girl in the passenger seat. She had brown wavy hair and a huge bump on her head. I looked down at her leg to see a large piece of metal wedged into her leg.
I turned around and saw that guy running towards me and I jumped out the way.
He was unbuckling the girl and apologizing while tears streamed down his face.
I stared in amazement as I watched the whole scene playing out before my eyes.
The guy was Caleb and the hysterical girl was Sarah.
I looked at the girl in the passenger side of the car and my tears blurred my vision.
" That's me." I whispered to myself.
