"Happy Birthday!" A bunch of voices shout at the same time. I'll just pretend like I'm asleep and maybe they'll go away. "Quinnie-boo! Wake up because it's your birthday!" Nope I was wrong. I groan and prop myself up on my elbows. I see my family, Brad and his family and my bestfriend Natalie all gathered around me.

"Goodmorning," I say to them as I sit up.

"You're finally 18 sweetie, and you first words of choice are goodmorning?" My mom asks with a smile.

"Firstly, I would like to thank my parents, for I quite literally wouldnt be here without them, I mean if they didn't have a special hug, then I wouldn't be standing where I am right now. Next I would like to thank Nat, for... I don't know, being Nat, and Thanks to the Simpsons for behing here, I guess," I smile as they applaud me and I give a curtsie. "Better mom?" I ask taking a seat.

"Yes, much better darling," she smiles. "So is everybody up for some waffles with whipped cream and berries?" She asks looking around the room. Everybody nods and all of the adults head to the kitchen.

"Oh Brad this is Nat, Nat this is Brad, though I assume you met earlier," I smile as I tighten the bun on top of my head.

"Wait, wait, wait, Bradley Will Simpson?" She asks squinting her eyes at him.

"How do you know his-"

"Ahhh I can't believe I met you, The Vamps are my favorite!" She squeals and hugs him. He smiles and hugs her back.

"Wait, so does everybody know about your band except me?" I ask.

"Um yes!" Nat smiles.

"Waffles are ready, come eat children." Mom calls from the dining room.

"Technically we're all adults now," I smirk to my mom. She shakes her head and smiles as she takes her seat and starts cutting into her waffle. I do the same.

"Nat, you can still join us for dinner right?" Mom asks as she wipes some whipped cream off of her face.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world!" Nat squeals as she winks to me.

"Mummy Mummy Mummy Mummy!" I shout standing up. The Simpsons crack up at my sudden reaction but Nat rises and giggles as well. Mom smiles but nods and Nat and I attack eachother in a hug. Yes! Sleepover!

"After breakfast I can drive you guys to get her things," My mom offers.

"We can walk," I say as I sit down again.

"Wait, am I the only one who's confused?" Brad asks looking around the table.

"Nat's gonna sleep over," My dad explains cutting a peice of waffle. Natalie and I are shoveling breakfast down until we finish at the same time and bring our plates to the sink.

"Lets go!" I squeal as we pull on our shoes. Luckily it's warm out because I'm dressed in pajama shorts and a flowy blue shirt. Since Nat's house was only a couple blocks away, we get there in almost no time.

"Dad, Mom, I'm going to sleep over at Quinn's, and eat dinner there," She calls. The house is silent as always. "It would be nice if someone actually listened for once!" She yells. No response. "Mom, Dad! I'm going to a party and I'm going to get very drunk and maybe even give up my virg-" I slap my hand over her mouth.

"Go get your stuff now!" I point up the stairs.

"It's not like they'd care anyways," She sighs and runs up the stairs. I huff out a breath and take a seat on a purple arm chair while I wait for her. "Okay done!" She shouts.

"You don't have to shout if I'm right here!" I shout back with a grin.

"Well now we're both shouting!" She shout and we burst into laughter. I giggle and pull her out of the house. We run all the way back to my house, which isn't far but we're so out of shape that we're wheezing by the time that we're in the house.
