"You were not in a musical in high school," He says in disbelief.
"I swear I was, I have pictures," I laugh and stick my hand out to feel th warm air rushing around the car.
"What was it?" He asks.
"Cinderella," I sigh and lean back into my seat.
"Who were you, no wait let me guess. You were Cinderella herself, weren't you?" He smiles and taps his thumbs against the steering wheel.
"Yep," I laugh. "Ooh we should play a game!" I squeal.
"Like scrabble?" Brad asks.
"No like a speaking game, oh we could do 20 questions, that's what we did the first time we met," I smile remembering that day.
"Can you believe that was only a couple weeks ago?" he asks.
"No, okay so my turn now, out of Nat and Brandy which one would you want to date?"
"Neither," He says.
"What?" I ask, my eyes wide.
"Nat scares me, she'd have all of the control in the relationship and I like balanced control. And Brandy, she's just too sweet, if i ever did anything I'd be afraid that I had completely hurt her but she was too afraid to say anything," Brad explains. " What about you and the lads?"
"Well Connor, I don't know he's Connor and he's like good friend material but we are definitely not compatible, Tristan is well... he's great but I'm to lazy and he's quite a wild one and I wouldn't be able to handle that, and James...." I sigh.
"What about him?" He asks.
"I think he might play for the other team, now this is just a hunch but me and the girls have talked it over a bit." I finished.
"Why exactly do you guys think this?" He asks as we start to get into some nighborhood looking streets and off busy crowded ones.
"Next time we see him togther sit next to me and i'll point out the things," I wink.
"Don't do that," Brad mumbles. "It's dangerous," he finishes.
"What, winking?" I ask.
"Yeah, it distracts me," He exhales. I laugh as we pull into the driveway of a cute green house. A woman with long brown hair and bangs sees the car and dashes into the house.
"Was that your sister?" I wihisper, leaning over towards him.
"You know that they can't hear us, right," whispered back before laughing. "Come on, let's go in and say hi, I'll get the bags later," He says before opening his door. I take a deep breath before opening mine. I cross my arms inform of my ribs and let out a shaky breath. "Are you nervous?" I jumps at the sudden whisper in my ear.
"No," I fib, and start cracking my knuckles, as it's a nervous habit of mine. Brad grabs a hold of my hand in his and interlocks our fingers.
"You have nothing to worry about," He assures. We stand there for a couple minute before Brad's voice breaks the silence. "Are you ready?" He asks. I nod and we approach the door. He opens it, and leads me through the entrance, his hand still holding mine. The familliar couple and the same girl from the porch all stand in a semi-circle awaiting our arrival.
"Hey guys," Brad smiles as we walk in. All six of their eyes dart down to our hands. "Mom, dad, you guys remember Quinn, and Nat, this is Quinn, Quinn this is my sister Nat," Well that could get confusing seeing as my bestfriend shares not only the name but also the nickname.
"Nice to meet you," I smile politely to Nat. Her eyes look up from our hands momentarily and she smiles.
"And you two are..?" She prompts.
