"That's them, could you go get the door?" Nat squeals as she starts speeding up her macara applying method. I let out a breath and walk down the stairs until I reach the door and I open it to reveal Brad and Connor.
"Hello, gentlemen," I smile.
"Hello Quinn, you look quite nice," Connor smiles as he walks over to the couch. I close the door behind them and walk to a stool at the counter.
"As do you Connie, so how are you feeling about tonight?" I ask as Brad takes a seat on the stool next to me.
"I'm fine," He squeaks.
"He's freaking out," Bradley chuckles.
"Nothing to worry about Con, Nat really likes you," I smile. He sends me a weak smile and lets out a shaky breath. "I'll go see how Nat's coming along," I smile as I stand up and flatten my pink dress down, walking past the boys and up the stairs. "Nat," I call as I knock on the bathroom door. "Are you ready?" The door swings open and she takes a step out. She looks absolutely beautiful in her blue summer dress and her hair left in it's natural wavy state. "You look beautiful Nat," I smile as I stick out my arms for her to link her own around.
"Thanks," She smiles as we start walking down the stairs. Connor and Brad both stand up once we reach the last step where I let Nat go and Connor comes over to greet her. I walk over to Brad to let them have some time to themselves.
"So fourth wheeling," I smile as I sit back on my stool.
"Well knowing Connor, they're probably just going to abandon us so I guess it's a friend date," He smiles. A friend date. With Brad. Not bad.
"Friend date?" I giggle.
"Well we're friends, on an outing, it could be considered a date. Except we're friends, so it's a friend date," He explains.
"Ah I see," I smile.
"Okay guys we're ready to go," Nat smiles as Connor opens the door for her.
"May I escort you out?" Brad asks holding out his arm.
"Well, if you insist," I smile as I link my arm through his. I pause to lock the door before walking down the many flights of stairs to give the happy couple some time to start walking to the carnival-fair-thing.
"So, do you have any plans for tomorrow?" Brad ask once we reach the street.
"I should probably look for a job, but I might hold off until thursday because I'm lazy, you?" I ask.
"We're going to record a cover," He smiles.
"What song?" I ask.
"Viva la vida, by Coldplay," He explains.
"Not to sound creepy but I've listened to a few of your covers and I think your vocals would work well with the song," I smile and try to hid my embarassment.
"Why thank you," He laughs. "Do you sing?" he asks.
"Um I usually save it for the shower," I chuckle.
"Well maybe I'll have to come by sometime while you're showering," He smiles before his face goes into shock. "Oh shit! I sound like a creep, I didn't mean it that way, sorry," He explains as I laugh.
"I understand what you meant," I manage through my fit of giggles.
"No but you should sing for me sometime," He smiles.
"Um, yeah no thanks," I laugh.
"Why not?" He asks, his eyes narrowing on mine.
"Because you have the voice of an angel, I can't sing so it would be like a disgrace to your ears," I explain. "Anyways, where are you going to record your cover?" I ask trying to change the subject.
