"Honey the guests are here, come out and be social!" My mom shouts up the stairs. I clumsily get up out of the purple beanbag that tries to devour me and check myself in the mirror before galloping down the stairs. When I reach the bottom I use my socks to slide across the floor into the living room where everybody is gathered.
"You certainly know how to make an entrance," the woman chuckles with her british accent. I smile as I feel my face warm up. She's about my height with brown ringlets and standing next to a man who I assume is her husband then sitting on the couch is a teenage boy who has curly brown hair like his mom's.
"Sorry, um, hi, my name's Quinn," I announce in a shaky awkward voice.
"Nice to meet you Quinn, my name's Chris, this is my wife Clementime, and our son Bradley," he smiles shaking my hand. The woman, Clementime, hugs me and Bradley waves from his spot on the couch. I make an awkward gesture back and he smiles.
"Quinn why don't you show Bradley around town?" My mom suggests handing me a coat. I nod and my mom practically pushes us out of the house.
"Well, here's a sidewalk," I joke pointing to the ground.
"No way!" Bradley says sarcastically.
"Okay Bradley, we could walk to a park or starbucks," I announce.
"You can call me Brad, and whatever's fine," he smiles.
"Alrighty then Brad, we'll get drinks at starbuck and drink them at the park, Brad," I smile.
"Okay, Quinn" he laughs with a smirk. He's actually quite attractive.
When we reach starbucks there's a short line so we reach the counter quickly.
"Could I please get a mocha," I say reaching for my purse.
"Make that two," Bradley orders swatting my hand away and pulling out his wallet. He hands the lady the change.
"You didn't have to do that," I smile lookin up at him.
"I wanted to," he smirks and adds a wink. I feel myself blush so i look down to my lavender vans. The lady hands our drinks and we walk out of the store to the sidewalk.
"Thanks for the drink," I smile shyly. Oh god. I bet he can totally tell that I'm falling for him.
"Any time, so want to play twenty questions, but unlimited?" He asks with his cute smile.
"Sure, how old are you?" I start.
"19, you?"
"18, um I don't know you ask another," I laugh.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" He asks.
"No, actually, I've never had one," I say.
"Really, why not?" He asks.
"I'm just too cool for boys," I laugh. "No, actually I'm a bit of a dork so..."
"Oh sure," he says shaking his head.
"What about you, do you have a girlfriend?" I ask.
"No," he says.
"Oh," I say. I look the other way so he wont see my smile, I mean we met 20 minutes ago and I like him. I feel my phone buzz in my pocket,

"My mom just texted, dinner will be ready soon so we better get back," I say.
"Okay, maybe you could show me the park tomorrow," he winks. I blush and look back at the ground. "You're cute when you blush, no need to hime your face," he smirks. Yep, I'm definitely falling for Bradley.
