**Brad's Point of view***
"Please see if you two can come this weekend!" Mom chirps.
"I don't know mom, she's had a rough week. She hasn't really talked to anyone in three days," I sigh and lift my tea bag up out of my mug.
"Maybe she just needs to get away from the crazy rush of London. Listen we promise not to bug her, we'll just give her some family support. I really want her to meet your sister, and you haven't seen her yourself since the holidays." Mom begs.
"I'll see what I can do. Just dont get you hopes up okay,"
"Okay love you sweetie,"
"Love you too," I say before the line goes dead.
"Brad, mate, you really cant go on his way," Connor shouts from behind my shut door. "I know what Quinn had to go through was awful but locking yourself in your room wont do any good." I push my duvet off before rising from my bed and opening the door to meet Connor. "Ah, finaly," He smiles once he sees me. "I thought you would have a beard down to your feet by the time we got you out of there," He laughs."I've been trying to grow a beard for 18 years now man, I don't know if it'll ever happen," I sigh with a smile.
"Hey so I was about to head over to see Nat, but she says that her and Brandy think it would be good if you talked to Quinn. They haven't been able to get a word out of her and she only leaves her room to use the bathroom." Connor sighs, his eyes filling up with worry. "You think you could work your magic on her?" He asks.
"What magic is this you speak of?"
"Oh please, every time she sees you her eyes sparkle, if she had you there I'm sure it would really mean a lot to her. And even if you deny it I know you really care for her. It would be healthy for both of you if you were to go see her." Connor says as he hands me a clean shirt.
"Well okay I think you're exaggerating a bit.." I say as I pull my shirt over my head. I hear the click of a camera and roll my eyes. "But I was about to go visit her anyway. My mom wants us to come up for the weekend." I explain while buttoning up the flannel.
"Uhm..." Connor coughs.
"What?" I question while slipping my feet into a pair of vans.
"That's just a very- well you see- it's just that's usually something couples do is all," He smirks.
"Her step-father is a family friend," I sigh.
"There are many things you've done for her that I've never seen you do for a family friend," He laughs. "Listen Brad, are you really that revolted by the idea of guys as a couple?" He asks and bends down to my level. I respond after I've finished tying my shoes.
"Obviously i'm not revolted by that. It's just, she's going through a lot right now and I dont want to force anything on her." I explain in a soft voice as Connor follows me down the stairs.
"So you do like her," He smirks as we slip our jackets on.
"Dear god, dont tell Natalie or else I'll never hear the end of this." I sigh as we open the door, close it and Connor twists his key in the lock.
"No promises," He smiles. I pull out my phone and check twiiter while we wait for the elevator.
@TheVampsBrad: Your sorrows pain me...
I hit send quickly and follow Connor out of the elevator and into Quinn's appartment. Nat and Connor hug and Nat smiles like the luckiest women alive. Connor's eyes watch her like she's the most breathtaking thing that he's ever seen. I hear Brandy welcome us and say something about Quinn, but I'm already on my way up the stairs. Outside of Quinn's door I notice a plate with a bowl of soup the roll next to it is half eaten and the soup is about three-quarters of the way full. I knock on the door lightly.
"Quinn," I pause to listen. "It's Brad," Nothing. "I'm coming in." I say a couple seconds before I turn the knob. The room feels dark and empty despite the bright light seeping in through the window. Quinn lays on the bed just blinking at the ceiling. "May I lay down next to you?" I ask.
"Sure," Her voice is rough, like she just woke up. I open my mouth to talk but she beats me to it. "I don't want to talk about it, but I'm sorry that it happened," She rushes out before turning her head to look at me. He eyes look really green as I assume she's just been crying.
"Okay." We both exhale and I turn to look at her.
"Listen I know this is going to sound weird but could you hold me?" She asks, the last bit is a mumble.
"I'd love to," I smile. She rolls over so that her head is resting against my chest and I wrap my arms around her. I feel my heart speed up at the sudden contact. We stay like this for a while, and right when I think she's asleep she looks up to me.
"Thanks," She says, biting her lip.
"For what?" I ask, meeting my eyes with hers.
"For everything," She says before resting her head back on my chest.
"Do you want to get out of London? For a few days?" I ask afer a few minutes of silence.
"I'd love to," She softly replies. "Can we leave tomorrow?" She asks.
"Sure. It's getting late, i should leave so you can rest up," I sigh and run a hand through my hair.
"Could you stay?" She asks, her voice quiet.
"Anything for you," I smile and kiss the top of her head. Soon her breathing becomes heavier, signalling that she's indeed asleep. I find my eyelids pulled closed by a heavy weight and I'm soon asleep.
