My Superman (A Tim Tebow love story)

Opening Up

These past few weeks have been magical. I still can't wrap my head around the fact that I'm dating Tim Tebow. I'm the lucky girl that's getting good morning beautiful texts from him. Having him in my life has helped me a lot.

Today I was going over to his apartment just to hangout with him. I think today is the day I tell him about my issues. He has the right to know and I feel comfortable telling him.

I knocked on his apartment door and he opened it.
"Hey beautiful" he said and kissed my forehead.

We sat down on the couch and watched TV. I had my head on his shoulder and he had his hand on my thigh. In one word it was perfection.

"Hey babe can I talk to you about something?"
"Sure what is it?"
"Listen I have issues...."
"What do you mean?"
"I have an eating disorder and am insecure." I broke into tears.
"Leah I don't know what to say."
"You don't have to say anything. I wanted to tell you thank you because you have really helped me get better. I'm starting to eat normally and I don't call myself names as much."
"I'm glad that I've been able to help you but it breaks my heart that you feel this way. You're the most beautiful girl I've met. I love you."
" And I love you too very much. I just figured that you needed to know."

After that Tim knew me well enough to just sit there in silence. Now Tim was holding me up against his chest.
After a while we both fell asleep just like that, peacefully on his couch.

I woke up and looked at the clock. It was already 9:00. I need to leave soon but I definitely need to tell Tim goodbye and I don't want to wake him up. I'll just wait until he wakes up. For right now I need something to drink.

I got up and went to the fridge to get some water. Once I came back over Tim was awake. Crap I really didn't want to wake him up.
"Hey Leah what's up?" He said in his sleepy sexy voice.
"Hey Tim I'm sorry to wake you I just needed some water."
"No it's ok. But wow it's late."
"Yeah I was just waiting for you to wake up so I could go home."
"You can stay here if you want to."
"Oh ok thanks I just might have to take you up on that offer! You want me to sleep on the couch?"
" I thought you could sleep with me in my bed?"
"Even better! Sounds good to me! Can I borrow a pair of your boxers or shorts and a shirt please? Sorry I can't get comfortable in my clothes."
" sure no problem. Just go in my room and in my closet and get what you need."

I got an old white T-shirt and boxer shorts. I went to the bathroom to get changed. Once I came out I went into Tim's room to go to bed. He was already in bed, shirtless and in his underwear. I know he wasn't trying to be absolutely gorgeous or anything, that was just what he wore to bed. But man was he hot.

I got in bed and cuddled up against Tim. He whispered good night in my ear and we fell asleep.

The next morning I woke up to the smell of breakfast. Tim wasn't in bed but I thought I was just imagining things since I was hungry. I got up and saw Tim in the kitchen still shirtless and in his underwear, cooking breakfast. What more could I ask for?
"Good morning Leah."
"Good morning Tim thanks for cooking breakfast!"
"Of course it is my pleasure! Pancakes and bacon are done."
He served me bacon and pancakes on a plate and sat down to eat with me.
"Wow this is really good. You're quite the chef!"
"Haha thanks the Aunt Jemima instruction aren't that hard to follow. But there is something I wanted to ask you. Thanksgiving is coming up and I was planning on going down to Jacksonville to be with my family. I was wondering if you would like to come with me?"
" I would love to come with you Tim! Would you mind if my family came too?"
"That would be great. I can't wait for everyone to meet each other."
"Yeah. But thanks for last night. It was nice just cuddling with you and thanks for listening to me."
"I love being with you Leah. And I am always up to listening to you. Any time I'm here for you."
Every word he says makes my heart melt. I love him so much. I need to call my mom and let her know. I feel bad I never even told her we were dating. I usually tell her everything but I wanted to see how things worked out between us. Now is a good time.
"Hey mom!"
"Hi Leah! How's everything going?"
"Fantastic, even better than fantastic actually, if that's possible. But I have a few pieces of news I need to tell you."
"You've got me excited. What is it?"
"First of all I'm dating Tim Tebow!"
"what?! Seriously?! I can't believe it sweetie I'm so happy for you. What else?"
" he wants me to come down to Jacksonville with him for Thanksgiving to meet his family. I was wondering if you dad and Heather could come down to meet everyone?"
"Of course sweetie that sounds wonderful! I'll let everyone know. Love you Leah."
"Love you too mom bye."

I'm so happy. I can't wait to spend more time with the man I love and I can meet his family!
