Jasper's P.O.V.

A gunshot was heard as Thalia collapsed in my arms, the whole park became a chaotic battle field like scene as everyone took cover. I noticed a black shadow, no a person wearing all blscm clothes located at the highet building here, he immediately stood up and ran for his life.

"Thalia! Thalia!" The unconcious Thalia stayed limp in my arms as I slowly positioned her to lie on the floor there was a huge wound on her chest as hee clothes are also beginning to leave some stain. This is bad, she's lossing a huge ammount of blood, I have to do something to save her.

I was torned apart whether to follow where that bastard ran to or help Thalia and send her to the hospital, we have to know what his motive is in wanting to kill me and Thalia in the first place. Numerous guards disguised as civilians ran quickly like a flash as they all tried to capture the prime suspect in the city, I just hope they can catch him and be put behind bars.

"Jasper, take her to the hospital now. Take her to safety and don't ever leave her, I'll take care of your uncle and make sure that he'll rot in jail" In less than a second Flint appeared before me and looked at his sister in shock, anger was evident in both his tone and choice of words but I know this isn't the right time to babble nonsense things and question each other.

I have to save Thalia before anything bad might happen, so I carried Thalia's body and placed her inside my car, I tore a piece of cloth from my shirt and used it as a gauge to press the wound to prevent excessive bleeding. Though I'm not sure if this will affect the wound stucked inside her, I think the bullet had damaged some veins which caused her to bleed more.

"What happened here?" One doctor immediately rushed to my side when I transfered Thalia to a stretcher and rolled it inside the hospital, I let her lie in a side view position as the wound was deeply carved in her flesh from the back.

"She was shot from a very far distance, I think the bullet isn't that too deep but is affecting her veins"

I am no doctor but I am veey much interested once in medicine, I know easy things like this will help make the time more fast for interrogation, Thalia needs to be operated now as the bulled might just move inside her.

"Dr. her vital signs are dropping and the left side of her shoulder is a bit dislocated and is also hard, I think she's having an internal bleeding, she needs to be operated quickly" The nurse attending to our needs proposed as the doctor beside me looked pretty determined on what to do.

"Get the OR ready, call the anesthesiologist and Dr. Park" They'll operate her right away, before the doctor could leave I told them to do everything just to save Thalia.

"Please save her" I would really go crazy if something bad will also happen to her inside the operating room, but as of now I need to calm myself down and wait for the next annkuncement about the operation.

"We'll do everything we can, for the mean time please just calm down sir" The stretcher was wheeled away from me as a nurse told me to stop following them, they entered one room where I think the OR is located and told me to wait calmly for the result.

I sat on the bench near the OR with a very worried heart and unstable mind, it's been an hour and a half but there's still no doctors greeting me to announce what happened to Thalia.

"Where's Thalia?" Flint and Thalia's parents appeared before me as I stood up and greeted them a bit impolitely, I was still trembling and praying hard that nothing bad will ever happen to Thalia while she's in the operating room. She needs to survive ...

"The doctor said that her vital signs are dropping, she's still in the operating room for now she's also having internal bleeding so the doctor told us to wait for a bit" I was right, some veins were damaged but I think Thalia will still be fine. She can go through this and will live.

"It's good to know that you're always keeping an eye on Thalia, I know that man wouldn't leave you and her alone." Flint almost cursed out loud as he sad those words, his parents turned to us in confusion as they don't know what Flint and I had planned.

"What do you mean by that Flint? What do you mean he wouldn't leave Thalia and Flint alone?" Mr. Hong keeps on asking, I couldn't stay still because they're destined to know our plan anyway.

"Thalia has been acting very strange this week because of that man, he frequently shows himself infront of Thalia to scare her and once and talk to her regarding Jasper. Remeber when she offered to buy the pasta herself and Jasper saw Thalia staring into space outside our house? Adam already managed to talk to her and threaten her about hurting Jasper" Flint explained.

"Thalia also got scared on the night of Mrs. Choi's party, I knew that she saw him there because she begged me to take her home without even telling me the reason why. So Flint and I formed a plan that one of us should always be with Thalia, Adam might attack whenever he wants and that happened earlier. We informed the police about our plan and they gladly extended their help"

I added, eversince I noticed her acting strange I already knew something was wrong but she doesn't want to tell anyone because she's afraid that they might get draged in this chaotic story. Good thing there was a CCTV in their house so we were able to trace and recognize who have had a conversation with Thalia.

"Well atleast now we know that the man can't hurt us or Thalia anymore, he'll be forever locked up in jail" Mrs. Hong sighed in relief, I bowed my head in shame as a very negative perspective currupted my mind. I think the reason why this happened is all because of me, Adam is the onky person who could so that professionally because he's a sharp shooter.

"I'm sorry"

"This isn't your fault Jasper, just be strong because I know Thalia will want to see you when she wakes up again. She's definitely survive this" She will and I promise, that I'll do my very best to protect her and take care of her once she'll wake up.
