CHAPTER 37

I felt someone stroking my hair. My conscious was dead. I couldn't recognize who it was. I tried getting up, but was placed back by a pair of strong arms.

It smelled like mint. The whole room was filled with mint fragrance.

Someone still continued stroking my hair. I managed to look up.

"Sam."i whispered my eyes opening wide.

I hugged him as tightly as i could. I had cuts around my stomach, and it hurt when i hugged him so tightly, but i didnt care.

"Where were you love? Do you know what I've been through?" He whispered lifting my face gently.

I pulled him closer to me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he came closer. So close that i could feel his heartbeat.

"I..." i wanted to speak, but we met up in a sweet and passionate kiss. His hands were travelled down my back as i grabbed his shirt tightly.

God how much i missed him. I couldn't get enough of him.

After what you can call three minutes we pulled back.

"Lei. Why did you leave me alone?" He asked with his soft watery green eyes.

I dug my face into his  neck and allowed all my hidden emotions to spill out.

" I'm sorry love. It's not my fault." I said .

"Shhh. I'm not saying it's your fault. I'm here now, you don't have to worry .

"By the way, since when my lei sleeps without a shirt?"

I looked up and realised i didnt have a top on. My face went red and i remembered what i was up to last night.

With embarrassment clearly evident in my face, i got up to get a top, but was pulled back .

"You are shy , from me?" He asked.

I ignored him and looked at the ground. I was deadly embarrassed.

"Hm no. I just..."

He picked me up and carried me in his shoulder.

He placed me in the bed and wrapped the blanket around me. "It's cold. I don't Want you getting sick." He said with a smile and winked.

I wrapped the blanket closer to my body as the cold chilly air entered the room. Sam gently pulled my arm and pulled me closer .

He wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my neck.

"Sam." I whispered.

"Keep quite lei." He softly whispered.

I twirled my arm around his strong waist as we were filled with lust and desire as our bodies made contact.

He looked up again and said " we will be leaving before dawn. I don't want mom and dad to know I'm here ."

"Why?"

He looked up at me like i asked him something too complex.

"Don't you know what mom said?" He asked as his face became granite.

"No."

"Forget it. Let's just calm down and move out of here as quickly as possible." He said closing his eye and exhaling.

"Tell me Sam." I argued.

" she asked me to divorce you and marry someone of her choice."

I swallowed hard. I couldn't believe my ears .

I have faith in Sam. He will never do that.

Before i would cry and spill out i managed to ask " what did you say? I mean why does she want you to divorce me?"

I knew the reason very well. I hope mom didnt tell Sam that i wasnt a virgin anymore.

" I swore her on the phone and told her that if she said that again, then she will lose mother and son relationship." He said.

" you shouldn't have said that love." I said trying to calm him down.

" lei, i don't to talk about this any further. Ok?"

I wrapped my arms around him once again and he moved closer .

He pulled away the sheet that covered me and layed closer to me. "Ok love." I whispered with a smile.

Although i suffered alot . The thing is i still call myself lucky, bacause i have such a heavenly husband.

He kissed my neck and grabbed my hair into a fist. I could actually feel how much he missed me. He never behaved like this before.

I coudnt believe he was here right by my side. Now i know I'm safe no matter what.

I pulled the white silky sheet and covered us. And the wonderful glorious night was spend by us making love passionately.

Samuels pov

I got up from bed and grabbed my shirt that was laying on the dressing. Lei was sleeping peacefully.

I put the pillow underneath her head and covered her with the blanket, because she didnt have proper clothing on.

She moved in her sleep and slowly opened her eyes. She looked so beautiful. Her face was filled with a smile as she took a glance at me.

"Ready?" She asked.

"Not yet. Waiting for you." I said.

She yawned and covered herself in the wrap again. I playfully slapped her and removed the cover.

"Come on sleepy head, we have to get going." I whispered.

"So early?" She said getting up and stretching.

"I need a shower." She said taking a look at her self.

"Let's go." I said wrapping my around her and lifting her up.

"Put me down Sam." She whispered laughing.

"why should i do that?" I asked.

"Let me take a shower first then your turn." She said stubbornly.

" ok then." I said putting her back down feeling hurt.

She noticed me and then grabbed my arm. " let's go." She said pulling me.

After we had a long shower, i realised that i had to go now.

Lei was dressed in a lacy black dress and her wet hair was pooling the ground.

"Lei , my flight arrived. Time to leave." I said lifting her luggage.

We were soon at the airport.

After all the documentation work was done ,we headed straight to my plane.

Laura's pov

We reached USA in no time. The flight wasn't that tiring because Sam kept me busy with his jokes.

It was so so wonderful to be back in the mansion. I felt like i was home, i was safe.

I greeted maria and of course she was suspecting where i went ,but i didnt go into detail with her.

Life has been peacefully spent since this morning and i hope it continues to.

Now what I'm worried about is telling Sam about Dylan. I need to first stand on my toes with strength so that i don't collapse while uttering the truth.

Sam was way too exhausted so he went straight to bed. After i got dressed in white silvery gown that Sam brought for me when i first came here.

Life has changed so much.

After i got dressed,i hoped in bed and joined Sam.

Now i had to be strong to tell him the truth, before his mom tells him.

He will lose complete trust in me.
