CHAPTER 24 (THE PARTY)

Laura's pov

I feel so uncomfortable in this place. Almost everyone's eyes are darting on me. Am i an unsausal creature that is funny to look at. Even the first day of collage when i went in the wrong class people were looking at me like I'm some odd beast.

Sam and i are walking to his friends. He told me that were desperate to see me. God! Why me?

Sam spotted his friends and took my hand in his.

"Evening Mr cosine . " Sam greeted one of them.

"Evening buddy,how are you?" Mr cosine asked.

I stood there awkwardly no knowing one to do. Suddenly i saw something very familiar. I mean very.

"Sam,can go and discover the place?" I asked.

Everyone looked at me. All his friends including Mr cosine . I wish the ground could swallow me.

"Your wife......Sam, is she real?" One of them asked not blinking. I could his instant stare deep in my soul.

"She's heavenly gorgeous!" The other one said excited.

"Where did you find this crystal chic?" Mr cosine asked.

I got angry how dare he call me a chic.

"Sure. Why not?" Sam said in a sweet tone. I wanted to hug him for his answer.

I walked away and looked and scanned every corner. I saw something familiar earlier on. I walked and walked.

I was kind of far away from the party now. I didn't like being alone in this place. I went up the stairs when i heard." Hey beautiful." Someone said causing shivers down my spine.

I looked and it was a strange person who i have never seen before. " Do you wanna have some fun?" He asked blinking.

I wanted to punch him right now.

Ignoring him i started walking faster when he followed. I could hear his footsteps. I increased my speed and starting running.

My dress came in  contact with my shoes and I fell with a loud thud. "Aweee. Babe are you hurt." That strange person asked.

"Let me tell you something. Leave me or else i will scream. My husband will murder you with his bare hands if he catches you messing up with me." I said giving him a death glare.

"Hahaha . Who are you trying to scare babe?" He said seriously.

Fear filled my soul and he approached me. He wasn't scared.

"Sam!" I yelled on top of my lungs.

He covered my mouth tightly and grabbed me by my wrist. He took me to a corner where they was hardly any light.

I was chocking on my spit. This monster ! I curse him with all destruction on this earth.

He came closer to my face. His hot breath sent tingles down my neck.

Oh god. What if Sam sees this. He will be so broken.

"You smell like cinnamon. My favourite fragrance. " he said like I'm bothered to hear.

I couldn't move even a  bit. His strong big hands were chaining me in one position.

His hands were moving up down and suddenly he started lifting my dress. Tears filled my eyes.

I'm sorry Sam. It's not my fault.

After a couple of seconds,i heard a loud noise.

He pulled away. Someone smacked him in the face. "How dare you!?" Someone demanded.

I was so thankful. I didn't know who was saving me but i knew it was a blessing from god. "Get lost before i report you!!!" That person yelled again.

That voice was familiar. I was crying and didn't bother to look back. I was way too embarrassed.

"Are you ok?" The person asked in a sweet tone placing a hand on my shoulder.

I looked back and....... i was shocked.

"Laura? Is that you?" Katie asked.

"Katie......." I called.

Without a second thought we hugged eachother . "I missed you so much kat ." I said allowing my eyes to spill out.

"I missed you too lei. Where have you been. Do you know how worried i was." She said as we pulled back.

"It's a long story kat." I said as she looked at me.

"You look stunning lei. Where did you buy that necklace from. It's looks super good on you." She said.

"My mother in law gave it to me." I said.

"What!!!!! You are married?!" She asked shocked.

"Yeah,I'm married ." I replied awkwardly.

"With who?" She asked.

Oh god this is a beginning of an interview.

"Samuel miller. His an assistant of the government." I replied.

"Lei you are soooo lucky!" She said." I wanna meet him."

We both went downstairs and had cold ice krushers. We ate cookies and walked around.

I took Kat to Sam. He wasn't there any longer.

He must around here some where.

I looked for him but couldn't find him.

"Oh kat. Aren't you married as well." I asked .

"Nope,but Im planning to soon."she said.

After a good time was spent on hunting i finally found Sam.

"Sam. This is my best friend katie ." I introduced.

"Evening sis. Good to meet you." Sam greeted shaking her hand.

"Lei,they will be a dance taking place in a hours time. Would you like to dance?" Sam asked.

"Yes she will!" Kat answered for me.

"Ok then,I'll see you sweet pie." Sam said walking away.

"Sam is so hot! You'll make a perfect match!" Kat said.

"Thanks." I said blushing.

Sam went on his knees and i placed my hand on his. Everyone started applauding for us.

We danced and danced until we couldn't anymore. Everyone was clapping and whistling.

After the party was over,Sam said his goodbyes.

I went and met kat for the last time and gave her my number.

We were soon home and i was exhausted .

I got changed and placed my head on the fluffy feathery pillow,when Sam joined.

"Lei." Sam called.

"Yes Sam." I replied.

"You looked like an angel today. You don't know how everyone was looking at you. You could clearly see desire in their eyes . You know what lei,I'm very happy to have you. You are a blessing from god and i can never give enough thanks for you." He said.

"I'm lucky to have such a benevolent and magnanimous husband like you." I said looking at him.

We met up in a kiss.

That was the end of this beautiful day.
