CHAPTER 20 (MY HOPE)

Dylan's pov
I'm saddened. Yesterday i knocked on the huge mansion door and got no reply. My heart was filled with sorrow of darkness when one of the guards informed me about them.

"Their are gone to Paris for their......honeymoon. "I was planning to stop the wedding but i didn't know that their already having fun.

It's ok though,I'm still motivated . I will clear the misunderstanding between us and then Laura will be mine and only mine. Nothing will keep me away from her now.

Laura's pov

The flight was quiet hectic . I am so excited to explore Paris ,it was always my wish. I try my best to enjoy myself but i can't stop thinking about Dylan.

I miss him sometimes especially when Sam's not around. At least i should've given Dylan the chance to explain himself. What if I'm mistaken?

Sam is a nice person,but he can be very stubborn at times. "Ready to go?" Sam asked taking my luggage . "Yeah."I said.

After a couple minutes of driving we reached Sam's parent's Home. My eyes went wide. It was bigger than Sam's house and six times larger!

"Oh my son,how much i missed you!" His mom said pulling him into a hug.

"I missed you to mom. This is my wife Laura." Sam said pulling me closer to her,

"Hm evening ma'am ." I greeted shaking her hand,but she pulled me into a hug instead.

"Wow! My daughter in law is stunning. Samuel you should take care of her and protect her from the shadows of other men." His mom said.

I don't know why but it hurt me when Sam's mom called me her daughter in law . I wanted to be the daughter of  the David family not Miller,but i guess I'll have to swallow my pain and move on.

"You'll get freshen up while i set the table." Mom said walking away.

Sam took me to our room and placed our luggage in the corner. I was heading to the bathroom when Sam called out. "Laura?" He called.

"Yes Sam." I replied.

"Here,tonight you must wear this." He said handing me a hug bag.

I opened the bag and placed my fingers on the navy coloured dress. I pulled it out and it was priceless.

"Thank you." I replied and went to the bathroom stammering the door shut.

I got dressed in the beautiful dress. It wasn't fancy but greatly made. It was quiet tight and revealing but i wore it anyways.

I went downstairs and helped setting the table. We soon started eating in dead silence. You could only hear the sounds of spoons and folks .

I didn't eat much but i tried. I know Sam will shove me with food later if i don't eat now.

"So Laura,would you tell me about yourself." Sam's mom asked.

I choked on my food and started coughing. Sam's hand was patting my back.

"Mom some other time." Sam said not willing to tell her.

After we were done i helped Sam's mom with the dishes. Soon everyone was in their rooms. I headed upstairs and got changed into my night gown.

I opened my long black silky hair and started combing it. Afterwards i opened the luggage and positioned the stuff in the cupboard. A pair of hands made contact with my waist.

"Sam I'm busy." I said looking away.

He pulled me closer and took me to the balcony. I was shocked with what i saw. It was a beautiful gardening multi coloured roses. It smells heavenly in here.

I wish dy ....... Again he came in my mind. God help me forget him.

Sam took my hand in his and soon we started dancing. I enjoyed this moment it takes away all my worries.

I suddenly lost my balance and fell in his arms. Our eyes met and i drowned in those glossy dark green eyes. My heart raced. He came closer and closer when i pulled away.

I know i was a dumb to avoid that moment but i didn't wanted to.

"Hm so now my own wife is shy from me." Sam said smiling at my reaction.

"Hm Sam I'm really tired. I have a backache because of sitting the whole of last night." I explained.

"Oh well sure,then go to sleep. Sweet dreams." Sam said smiling.

I was tired to think of anything i hopped to the king size bed and drifted off to sleep
