CHAPTER 1(A CRUSH WITH MR POPULAR)

Laura's pov

The alarm deafens my ear. I quickly throw it off the table and drag my lazy body out of bed. "Laura!! Hurry up you idiotic thing!" My mom yells. I rush to the bathroom and quickly take a shower. I wore my black skirt that set till my knees and a dark green shirt. I quickly brush my hair and apply some neutral make up. I was downstairs in no time.

I went to the kitchen to have my breakfast by my mom pushed me away." You are late! And you expect me to feed you breakfast!

I was sad because of the way my step mom speaks with me. I rushed to my drivers car and soon i was at school. There was absolutely no one that arrived yet so i went to the cleaner and started speaking to her.

"Hey,aunty lina how are you?" I greeted.

"Hey,im well and you? Must say you look really stunning today. Why are you here so early?" She asked.

"Hmm well,my mom said i shouldnt be late for school otherwise i get punished." I said a bit embrassed.

"Oh ,ok then ill see you later,i have some work to do." She says taking the mop and the bucket along.

Great! I was all alone again.

Finally the first bell rang and i was scanning through the rooms to find my chemistry class. I know right chemistry early in the moring is a wonderful way to start your day.(note the sarcasm)

I went to a class which i guess is the chemistry class.

As i entered all eyes were darting on my figure and people were laughing at my black thick rimmed glasses. Thanks to mom. I sat at the back of the class and everyone turned around and looked at me again like im some kind of an odd creature.

"Stop staring at me!" I cant believe i said that out loud.

The lecturer starting marking the register. "Whos name did i not call out?" The lecturer asked and i raised my hand.

I realised i was in the wrong class and a speeded out. Today was way too embrassing. It was soon break and i walked over to the bench and saw my best friend katie.

I opened my zip and realised my lunch is in my locker. "Kate i'll be back,i left my lunch in my locker." I informed kate.

I went to my locker and yes it wouldnt open. My face was turning red like a grape from putting so much pressure on the lock.

Out of no where i saw mr popular comming along with his group who were continuesly laughing at me. I looked up and saw that mr popular wasnt laughing. I was shocked.

He was so build up and had dark ocean blue eyes that i had a possiblity to drown in anytime,but i stopped myself. I didnt want to embrass myself anymore.

After i took my lunch i was with  kate. After break i was taken to the office to wear some tracksuit pants because my skirt was short. I seriously hated this collage.

2:00

I am finally at home and having lunch. My mom is gone to work. I sneaked and watched some tv. I was never allowed to watct tv during school days. Mom warned me about it and told me that i could only watch tv after i become a chemist. I hate chemistry but mom said that she would not call me her daughter until i become a chemist.

Who cares....

I heard someone unlocking the door and i quickly switched off the tv and ran to my room. I was busy with homework when my selfoon rang.

It was katie.

"Hey lei,whats your plans for the weekend?" She asked.

"Hmm i guess clean the house for mom." I said rolling my eyes.

She started laughing.

"Well,lets go to the mall and do some shopping!" She said excited.

"Ok then you will pick me up." I said.

Soon the call was over. After dinner i was so sleepy and just stared the ceiling. I was thinking of him, mr popular. He is so arrogant but didnt laugh at me today.

I dont know but i like that habit of his.

Whatever. Soon i drifted of to sleep.
