Chapter 9: trapped

This is a double update so next chapter is posted after this one. It's not a major battle scene but it is an action chapter don't worry the major battle scene doesn't come til later in the book!

Chapter 9:

"oh no this is all my fault!" I said shakily then fell to the ground in more tears.

"No baby, no it's not your fault."

"Yes it is! I shouldnt have come here!" i wailed "I should never have come here." i whispered. "I just...i just didnt know where else to go. Im sorry. im so so sorry." i said quietly while looking at the ground. "I'll just leave. Im sorry" i said walking past him.

Part of me wanted him to stop me, but part of me just wanted him to let me go. I didn't want to go, but i didn't want to be the reason his family was in danger.

Right as i walked past him he grabbed my arm.

"Yes you should have." he said softly grabbing my chin and making me look up into those gorgeous eyes of his. "Now we need to get Dan and everyone else together. Leah will you gather everyone up and check on carl and his mate?" he asked his sister never looking away from me.

"Of course!" Leah said

"Ask them to all gather in the meeting room please. I need to talk to Moona for a second." he said "in private"

His sister left and Ryder grabbed my hand leading me up the stairs. I wanted to know where we were going, but i couldnt find my voice to do so.

We stopped in front of a dark stained wooden door. He opened it and inside was a king sized bed with a black comforter and pillows. There was a black dresser up against the right wall and next to that on the left of the dresser was a door i assume is the bathroom. On the right side of the dresser was another door im guessing was the closet. There was a black desk up against the left wall with a black lamp. the walls were a beautiful pure white and it lookd really amazing with all the black.

I was wondering who's room this was when i looked up and saw him sprawled across the bed looking at me curiously. Then it hit me...this is his room.

"Wha-what did y-you want-t t-to talk to m-me ab-b-bout?" i stuttered out cursing myself for stuttering.

He looked at me amusedly, but didnt say anything.

"If you dont have anything to talk about then we should go back downstairs" i huffed getting annoyed and turning to walk out the door.

He was behind me in secomds.

"whats your rush? Scared to be alone with me?" He teased grabbing my arm and turning me around.

"N-n-no" i stuttered out. Curse me and my stuttering!

He chuckled "oh really?" he asked raising an eyebrow at me.

"Yes" i said more confidently then turned around to leave again.

He turned me around again and had me up against the wall in seconds.

"How bout now?"

i gulped. "No"

He chuckled. Then he brought his face inches from mine. I could feel his breath on my face, it was sending shivers up my spine.

He raised an eyebrow "Now?"

Gulped agian and whispered out "No" not able to bring my voice any louder.

He then pressed his body flush against mine and pinned my arms next to my sides our hands intertwined . His face was now only an inch away and i shuddered.

He smirked "it scare you now?"

His minty breath hitting my face and causing my eyes to flutter shut. i shook my head unable to make a sound come out of my mouth.

"You shouldnt have said that"

All of a sudden i feel him press me farther into the wall and get closer if thats even possible. He squeezes my hands a little but not enough to hurt me causing more sparks to erupt throughout my body. My heartrate picks up and my breathing gets faster.

Next thing i know i feel his lips brush softly against mine and i can feel him smirking.

He's teasing me and i cant take it.

As he brushes against my lips again i push my head forward and press my lips against his.

He is shocked for a second and loosens his grip on my arms that he had pinned next to my sides. I take that chance and pull my arms out of his hands. Wrapping my arms around his neck and tangling my fingers in his hair pulling him closer.

He reacts in the next second putting his hand on my waste and rubbing up and down. His other hand cupping my cheek was sending tingles all over my body and that combined with the explosion of sparks up my side from his other hand made me shutter.

He licks my lip wanting to deepen the kiss and i refuse wanting to get him back for teasing me earlier.

He squeezes my sides causing me to gasp in surprise and he takes that chance to stick his tongue in my mouth.

He grabs my legs and lifts me up. i wrap my legs around his waist.

It is starting to get really heated and i dont know about him, but if i dont stop now i wont be able to.

so i pull away resting my forehead against his. We are both out of breath and panting really hard, trying to catch our breaths.

"ok maybe a little." i said out of breath.

He looks at me confused then it registers. He looks a little hurt so i quickly say

"im scared i wont be able to control myself around you. You have no idea the effect you have on me"

His hurt expression then turns to a smirk.

"oh i think I do, but you should know you have the same effect on me, babe"

A/N ok so this was going to be an action chapter, but i ended up haviing this chapeter be very long so instead its a filler. But i promise next chapter will have the action!!
