Max's P.O.V.
A small frown overtook my features and all the scenarios of what was going to happen now that I had a mate began playing through my head. Why. Why Moon Goddess why today of all days, why would you pick today to have me find my mate. I bit my lip lightly and continued the walk to my locker which was luckily only a few feet away.
What would Ashley think, she will hate me, it's not even my fault either! Ughhh! This was beginning to give me a headache. "I'm going to go catch up with the guys and see if Jake found his mate yet," mumbled Blake in my ear before kissing my cheek. I just nodded and smiled the best smile I could muster and continued to get things out for first period.
I turned around and didn't see Ashley anywhere. I assumed she was next to me or behind me but apparently not. Huffing in annoyance at the fact that she left me alone I sauntered off down the hallway to English. 'She's probably off swooning over Jake, and that's fine she can have him' and scowl took over my face at the thought. Then it dawned on me. Why the actual nutter butters did I care who she did or who he did? He may be my mate but I love Blake.
Finally reaching my class I sat down. Today was going to take for-fucking-ever to end. Sighing I bit my lip and frowned at the board. Life was going to be hard from now on, why can't things be easy?

Grunting I pulled my bag over my shoulder and leaned against the wall. Quickly pulling my phone out of my pocket I checked the time. The bell had rang like 10 minutes ago and there was no Ashley and no Blake. I haven't seen either of them at all today. Like what the fudge. Mumbling to myself I shook my head and walked off. Guess I would be walking home since apparently they both ditched me for whatever. "Fucking seriously.. Like... God why... Ugh" I continuously slung curse words at everything I passed. Today sucked and it was only getting worse. And like I wasn't already annoyed, it started pouring down rain. How cliche, kick a girl when she's down why don't you. Just fuck everything.
