Babydoll Mate

It seemed like the world couldn't possibly be shittier at the moment.  Finally, I am ready to accept that I am Jake's mate and I am about to get a kiss that had been haunting my dreams the night before, not like I'd admit this any other time.  But then, Blake comes in and ruins everything just like he ruined our friendship last night.  Huffing I pushed my tiny body up from the ground and wiped the stray dirt and grass off my clothes before addressing the idiot who stood in front of me that was challenging my mate.  "Blake, Please tell me, what in God's name are you doing?" I questioned angrily.  He turned to me with blazing eyes and a frown  that seemed to cover his entire face.  "What am I doing? What the hell are you doing?!" He basically screamed at me.  This was mistake number one, never yell at someone's mate directly in front of their face.  Jake looked angry before and now he looked even angrier.  "I don't know what you're talking about!" I screamed back.  "I'm simply trying to have a moment with MY mate when my STUPID EX-boyfriend decided to burst in and knock me to the ground before starting a screaming match," I continued.  A low guteral growl escaped his throat before he walked closer to me.  Mistake number two, don't growl at someone's mate, especially in a threatening way.  Jake took a few steps closer to my direction, clearly irritated and ready to protect me if need be.  "We are not over Max, I don't know what gave you that idea," Blake basically growled at me.  A frown now covered my face as well and I stood up straight before pointing out just exactly where he went wrong in that sentence.  " You cheated on me Blake.. I caught you last night with Ashley mid fuck, so yes we are fucking over especially since I have found my mate," I retorted with a cocky smirk.  I knew it was probably a bad idea to taunt him, especially now but I couldn't help it, he needed to know exactly what he did.  Blake roughly grabbed my arm and started to haul me off.  "We are talking about this, I am not going to lose you," He grunted.  This was mistake number three, don't lay your hands on someone's mate, especially trying to take them away, and this was even worse since my mate was his Alpha.  Jake growled once before efficiently laying Blake out with a solid punch to the face.  He quickly caught me as Blake's heavy arm threatened to take me down with him.  Jakes arms wound themselves around my waist as he pulled me into his warm embrace.  "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" He questioned quietly checking me over with worried eyes.  I nodded slightly and gave him a faint, apologetic smile.  "I'm so sorry, I- I don't know what Blake is doing I'm sure he's just...-" I rambled on until Jake cut me off.  "Don't apologize for him Babydoll, he knew exactly what he was doing challenging me and threatening you in any way," He said.  I looked down and laid my head on his chest.  "I guess.." I mumbled before pulling back with a small teasing smile on my face.  I looked up at Jake and let a small blush creep over my cheeks before leaning up and planting my lips solidly on his for a few moments before pulling away.  "That's for the interruption earlier," I smirked slightly.  Jake almost seemed stunned at how forward I was but I was pleased by his reaction.  On the outside I may have seemed confident but on the inside my wolf was buzzing at the tingles that had exploded throughout my body when our lips touched.  Today would certainly be interesting that's for sure.

 

A/N: sorry for the shitty chapter I just have more plans for the drama between our beautifully interesting characters and I wasn't sure how to get the drama started.  Hopefully these will be better later on and stuffs :).  Uploading again soon for sure!
