Chapter Twenty-One- Mind Probe

I get up and kiss John goodbye. I head to Ultra and and my Uncle comes and tells me that I'm going to be debriefed and he puts me in a room with another person like me. I am confused and then I feel pushing against my mind. It's very painful. I gasp in pain. Then I scream out telepathically for John.

He asks,"What's going on?"

I say telepathically,"They are digging through my mind."

John says,"Think of something an emotion so powerful it overwhelms you."

I think of the night my father left. All the guilt, anger, and sadness washes over me and they stop.

James says,"You're clean."

I sigh in relief. James hands me a folder and I open it. There is a picture of a girl with long straight hair, and piercing blue eyes.

I say,"Cara Cobourn."

James says,"She killed a kid accidentally because he nearly raped her."

I nod and say,"I take it this is my first breakout mission."

James nods and I ask,"When do we go after her?"

James says,"Tomorrow."

I nod and say,"I need to be getting home. My mother will start to worry."

James nods and sends me on my way.

I teleport home and John is there.

I show him the folder and he says,"I think we can get to her tomorrow."

I say quietly,"I'm so exhausted. Stupid Ultra agents probing my mind."

John laughs lowly and takes my jacket off. He rubs my shoulders and I sigh in relief.

He says,"I think that I can help you relax better."

I whisper,"What do you have in mind?"

He takes my shirt off and kisses my bare shoulder. I turn and he is centimeters away from me. I look at his lips and then look him in the eyes. He closes the tiny gap between us and captures my lips with his. I kiss him back and he pushes me against the wall. He pushes me against the wall hard enough to where it was like a bang.

I take his shirt off and run my hand up his abdomen and across his chest. I slide my hand down his arms and he smiles. I kiss him and he grinds against me. I gasp and he laughs seductively. I turn and push him against the wall and he looks down at me and smiles. I loop my fingers into his belt loops and pull him towards me.

He leans his forehead against mine and says,"You are so beautiful."

I blush and he kisses me. My hands are in his hair and I he carries me to the bed. He is on top of me and I nip his bottom lip. I smile and he captures my lips with his. He then nips my bottom lip.

I smile and say,"I don't deserve you."

John kisses me and says,"I don't deserve you."

I kiss him and he says,"I love you."

I look him in the eyes and see that he is telling the truth.

I smile and say,"I love you too."

He smiles and kisses me. I hear my door open and my brother Danny exclaims,"Oh geez. I'm sorry."

John and I pull away and I say,"Danny."

He says,"I just wanted to let you know that some guy named James is downstairs."

I groan and say,"Stay in your room."

He nods and goes in his room. I slide the folder behind my dresser and grab John's shirt. I tell him telepathically to stay here. He nods and I head downstairs.
