Chapter Eighteen: Breaking it off with Luke

When John and I get out of the shower we grab our clothes and he teleports before me back to my house. I grab one of the pillowcases and teleport back home. John is waiting for me and I stuff my clothes into the hamper with the pillowcase.

John says,"You were amazing."

I say,"If anyone was amazing it was you."

He puts his boxer briefs and jeans back on.

There is a knock on my door and I push John into my bathroom. I unlock it and see that it is Blaine. I sigh and let him in. I close and lock my door.

I say telepathically,"John you can come out."

John comes out and I walk to him and kiss him.

Blaine says,"I can't believe that you're naked in front of him."

I say quietly,"He uh saw me like this already. He also saw me in ways no one else has."

Blaine says,"You didn't."

I blush and look away.

Blaine says,"Awww my little Desi is all grown up."

I laugh and he smiles.

John asks,"Who is this?"

I say,"John this is my very best friend Blaine Hudson."

They shake hands and I say,"I am breaking it off with Luke."

Blaine says,"I will be there with you."

John says,"I will be there for you."

I smile and kiss John. I get my skinny jeans, Avenged Sevenfold shirt, and combat boots and put them on. I grab my fingerless gloves with the spikes on them and put them on. I grab my bag and put my hair in a high ponytail. I look at John and Blaine, they smile and I call Luke. I tell him to meet me at Starbucks. He agrees and I grab John and Blaine and run out my door.

We arrive and I see Luke. I break away from John and go ahead of him and Blaine. I grab Luke and pull him into the alley behind Starbucks. John and Blaine are there.

I say,"We need to talk."

Luke says,"We should do that in private."

I say,"Luke I-."

Luke repeats,"We should do this in private."

I step back to John and say,"I'm sorry Luke but I don't want to be your girlfriend."

Luke looks surprised. I feel John take my hand and Luke sees this and he gets angry.

He says,"You don't want to date me because of this guy."

I say,"Luke stop."

Luke says,"No. I was there when everyone left. I was there when you needed someone. Where was this guy?"

I take a step towards him and say,"Luke stop it. John was there for me from the very beginning. He saved me."

Luke takes a step towards me and says,"I wasn't there for you, I guess."

I say,"Luke. You're like a brother to me now. I have feelings for John that I now realize I never had for you."

Luke says,"We have something Destiny."

He grabs me and kisses me.

I push him away and say,"You had no right to do that."

Luke says,"You're a crazy whore."

I gasp and say,"You don't mean that."

Luke slaps me and I am shocked.

He says,"I hope that made you realize that I meant it."

I hear John come towards me and I look up at him. He helps me up and he turns away from Luke to check on me. I feel tears sting my eyes and I nod letting him know that I am ok. I grab Blaine's hand and John punches Luke. Luke falls to the ground unconscious. John teleports us back to my house. I take a step away from them and I collapse on the floor. I let the tears fall and cry. John holds me as I cry my eyes out.
