"I can't believe you broke my window!"Estrella exclaimed, punching me in the arm.

"I didn't try it!"I scoffed, punching her back.

She growled, and tackled me to the ground.

"Stop it!!"Rin commanded, kicking both of us.

"Stay out of it!!"We yelled at her.

She scowled.

"Rin's right! This isn't exactly the time to be fighting!"Phoenix intervened.

"Yeah."Zane agreed.

"I'm with the girls on this one."Aaron crossed his arms.

"Hey!"Zane exclaimed, offended.

I threw Estrella off of me, and shot up to my feet, brushing my shirt off.

"She started it..."I muttered.

"What was that?"Estrella glared at me.

"Nothing."I said, managing a fake smile.

"That's what I thought you said."She turned away from me.

"Whatever."I scoffed.

"Could you two knock it off?!"Rin exclaimed.

"I can...but I'm not so sure about her."Estrella scoffed, glancing at me.

I growled, unfolding my wings, and taking off.

Right in the middle of a busy city.

"Carli!!"Rin shouted, watching as several bystanders stopped, and gasped in shock.

"Our cover's been blown! LET'S GO!" Aaron shouted, taking off.

Rin, Phoenix, Zane, and Estrella followed close behind.

"What's going on?"

"What are they?!"

"Honey, get the camera!"

Zane scowled.

"As if I wasn't already enough of a freak show."He said, looking down at the several people who were now taking pictures of us.

"Stop complaining, and fly!"Rin shouted, looking back at him.

He muttered something to himself, and obeyed.

"LALALALALALA~!"

We all looked at the source of the singing.

It was two girls, avians rather, flying right at us..

One was blonde, with rainbow colored wings that blinded me with color.

The other had dark hair, and black wings. She looked thouroughly annoyed with her companion.

"Ara, can you PLEASE stop singing....."She groaned in annoyance, rubbing her temples.

"No, Fang, I cannot."The other said, putting her hands on her hips.

"What the hell....is that..."I squinted, looking at them.

"LALALALALA!!"The blonde continued, throwing her arms out to her sides.

"Shoot me..."The other muttered.

She spotted us, and tapped her companion's shoulder.

"Look"She pointed.

"Hullo~!"The other waved at us.

"Hiya."I said, moving my wings so that I'd stop moving forward.

"Wait a minute...."The dark and miserable looking one squinted at me.

"Hmm?"I tilted my head.

"OMIGOSH IT'S MIMI."She said boldly.

"And who exactly are you?'I asked, scratching my head.

"Mimi...Y U NO REMEMBER ME?!"She exclaimed, making a "Y U NO" face.

"Sorry...I don't know anyone that looks like you..."I trailed off, shaking my head.

"NUU!!"She whined.

"Fang, I don't think she remembers"The other whispered.

"Fang...OH!! Hi, Fang!"I smiled, suddenly remembering.

"So NOW you decide to remember me?! HMPH!"Fang scoffed, turning away.

"If that's Fang, then you're Ara, right?"I looked at the girl with rainbow wings.

"Yup~!"She smiled, nodding.

"You recognize her, but not meeee?!"Fang whined, crossing her arms.

"Sorry....she's the only person I know that would have rainbow wings...I know tons of people with black wings."I chuckled nervously.

"So now you're saying I'm not unique?!"She exclaimed

"No, no! It's not like that!"I insisted.

"How long are we gonna hover over this city?"Rin sighed.

"Rin's right. Let's land on a building."I suggested, swooping down twords the roof of a nearby office complex.

Everyone else followed unenthusiastically.

Except for Ara. She kept singing.

Everyone touched down gracefully, and I crashed.

"Ow...."I groaned, rubbing the scrape on my cheek.

"So, what are you guys doing here?"Rin asked, looking at Fang and Ara.

"We're on our way to the Academy, duh."Fang scoffed.

"Imma be the janitor~!"Ara enthused, practically sparkling with excitement.

"Good for you."Rin smiled.

"Wait, that's up and running already?"I asked, rubbing my scraped elbows as I climbed to my feet.

"Yeah. After all, it's been three years."Fang laughed, amused by my obliviousness.

"Huh. I guess I lost track of time."I sighed.

"I can't believe you flew all the way here from Australia."Aaron said, looking at Ara.

"Oh, I came here in an airplane. Fang met me at the airport."She smiled.

"Well, I guess it makes more sense than flying over seas..."He said, feeling stupid that he hadn't thought of that on his voyage to America.

"So, will you guys be coming with us? Y'know to teach and shit?"Fang asked.

"Well, it's not like we have anything better to do, and somebody has to teach the kids how to draw."I sighed.

"WELL....then we should be on our way."She said boldly, grinning.

"Whoop-whoop~!"Ara punched the air, unfolding her multi-colored wings.

And so we all took off, starting our real journey.
