The ocean swept back and forth against the beach, my toes curled in the sand as I watched it. The forth would tickle my skin and retreat back to the water while leaving a wet trail behind it, my boots were perched on a rock nearby, along with my coat and belts. the sun was shinning and the wind - god it felt nice. The breeze brushing against my skin and bringing with it the smell of the ocean. How could anyone pass these places? Such tiny specs of land that maybe only a few handful of people would look back at once and a while on their trips.

"Oi! (Y/N)? Love, what are you doing?" I turned my head at the sound of Edwards voice, who was walking over to me while stuffing a piece of paper into his pocket; a map most likely leading to some treasure spot. "Just enjoying the sceneary" I said, sitting back and leaning on my arms while my body soaked up the sun. I didn't even care that I was getting sand all over my pants, or that the waves were slapping cool water across my skin. I heard Edward give a sigh behind me but there was a smile behind it.

"It's like every other tiny island dear...same ocean, same sand, and same trees and rocks" He came to stand beside me, his shadow covering up my body. "Not true" I hummed, smiling when he raised a blonde brow at me.

"Okay...how is this one...different from the one you told me to stop at just days before?" He lifted his arms up wide, waiting for an explanation. I gestured out toward the waves and grinned, the wind brushing through my fingers as if meeting me in some wave. "This island is bigger...the water is colder and the scenery is different. It just is. If you start to think that everywhere you go is the same, then you start to loose the fun of going places." I tried to explan, but seeing as his face turned into something more confused then understanding I just flopped my arms and stood up.

"It just is Edward. The ocean feels different, the sand is different. It's a different island and everything" I looked up at him when he began to chuckle, holding his hands up when I furrowed my brow. "Sorry love it's just...I've never heard you say such deep things before..." his words made my frown soften slightly. "Well these little islands are one of the only places we can go that aren't littered with other pirates and people" I mumbled, turning my face back to the ocean.

"Aww...don't like the boys back on the Jackdaw?" He murmured, wrapping his arms around my waist to bring me to his chest. He pressed a light kiss to my forehead while I wrapped my own arms around his body. "No....just that sometimes one can only hear the same sea shanties so many times" I chuckled.

"Hmm maybe we can arrange for more alone time then, or I can get the boys to sing new shanties for your pleasure"

"Please. Maybe give them some singing lessons" I smiled more when he ducked down to press a kiss to my cheek. But he then began to pepper my face with kisses, my hand coming up to smush against his lips when I tried to wiggle away with giggles falling from my lips. He grinned, scooping me up in his arms like a new bride. I let out a laugh, he twirling us around as he walked around in the sand leaving behind a trail of boot prints.

"I'll give them some pointers so long as you continue to beg me to stop at every island or piece of land you see" He said, stopping right under a tree to sit down with me in his lap. "I was never going to stop, I can beg more though. Maybe even toss in a few pouty lips you love so much" I chuckled, sticking out my bottom lip in a mocking pout just to prove it. His eyes trailed down to it immediately and his smile only seemed to brighten. "I wouldn't argue with that" He whispered, leaning forward to capture my bottom lip with his, his hand trailing down to rest on my hip.

His kiss made me melt, him pulling away left me breathless but with a big smile. I always did like his kisses....unlike other hungry men he seemed to like things nice and slow. Build something up before getting too frisky.

"Should we be going?" I asked after a moment, my eyes trailing to the sun which seemed to be dipping a bit lower in the sky. "We should...but I kind of like it here..."

"Oh? What happened to this being the same old tiny island with the same old rocks and trees?"

"Well...this island, I'm sitting here with you...all the other islands we never did that" He said, his fingers came up to brush some of my hair back and grin. "So this island is...different I guess"

All I could do was smile, tucking my head underneath his jaw while watching the ocean drag against the sand from where we sat. We didn't leave for a while but...that didn't stop me the next day begging Edward to turn toward a another island with a whole bunch of smaller bits around it.

"(Y/N) I swear...."

Authors Note

Finalllyyyy I feel like I did so much better with this Edward story then any other one before. Well Midnight loving was pretty good but this one I feel was a bit better. I'm trying to get a better understanding of Edward and how he acts. Idk, I think I should really replay AC4 instead of going back to AC3 and replaying that for the 3rd time ( I just really like AC3 and Connor is a big reason for it, and also I like the American Rev. ) so yeah. Next should be Altair or Jacob. I'm trying to cycle through them all at least so I can get better at giving some a fair amount of stories. I feel like some have more then others.

Anyway I hope you enjoy it!
