Chapter Three

"Have a seat ladies," officer Adams said.

"Tell me what happened between yall"

"I had asked them to come over, but when Skylar arrived I told them not to come because Skylar doesn't like them." I answered.

"And I know they seen the message cause it said read on the phone. And they came up to the door being petty to begin with," Skylar said angrily.

I have never seen Skylar this mad before. Its just two girls who gotta whole lotta mouth but cant't fight.

"Well ladies. Im gonna let you to just chill here. Gotta hear their side of the story," Officer Adams said while he walked away.

"Them be the fakest girls I have ever seen. We was just cool now we swingin at each other," I said.

"I been told you that. I heard Shartay talkin bout us in gym the other day you met Keith."

"I wonder what Keith doing right now. I forgot I left him at my house Sky. Lucky my ma get off at 1."

"Okay ladies. I think yall stories addin' up. They gotta lil idget of lie but I trust yall. Let me give yall a ride home," Officer Adams said as he came rushin' in.

"God bless," Skylar said.

             When I got back it was around 10pm. 3hrs 'til my mama got off work. The house was a mess. Shartay's braids everywhere, and two shoes at the sofa that looked just like Keith's.

"I know he aint still here," I said as I went up into my room.

He was laying there. Sleep like he lived here.

"Keith getcha bad ass up and go home."

"Don't act like yeen happy to see me here getcho ass beat again."

"Again?," I yelled.

"Yea again," he said.

"You a lie. Check out dem braids down stairs."

"Ian never seen you that mad."

"Yea cause you been really knowing me for a day. My ma get home in a half hour you needa be going home."

"Ight baby gimme kiss."

               We had our first kiss on the first day. And let me explain this kiss. This kiss was a body press kiss. I felt EVERYTHING. I felt so much when I went to sleep I had a dream about us. Us doing the doing the "do". Only twelve and my birthday in two weeks dreaming bout the "do".

**I am in love with Keith. We gonna have bumps and still be together. We been together for five years and I fall in love with his fine ass everyday.**

~Next Day~

               I honestly think its time to let my mom know that I have a boyfriend. I don't even care that its been a two days. I believe he's gonna be my first.

"Mom I know we ain't got the best relationship but I think we needa make it better."

"Well, yea but what made you come to me with this?"

"I gotta boyfriend but we only been together two days."

"Just don't get yourself fooled. Whats this boyfriend name and when imma meet him?."

"Keith. He stay just right around the street."

"You talm bout that yellow boy Vaeh?"

"Yea im talm bout that yellow boy," I giggled.

"Well he cute... and he better not be in my house doing nun he ain suppose to be doin."

"I guess mama. Thanks."

"Welcome. You know you can come tell me anything."

"Alright."

"Can he come over right now mama?"

"Yea I guess."

 Now Keith is here. 

"Nevaeh I gotta tell you something," Keith said nervously.

    He busted straight in, didn't speak to my mom, and breathing hard with tears running down his face.

"What's wrong?" my mom said.

"Hey ma. Im in a gang called Black P-stones, and they don't play. They've found out about Neveah and they're coming for her. Yall gone have to get into hidin' somewhere before they get here. They know everything!" Keith said.

"Boy! You done got my daughter in some mess with a gang. Why they after you?"

"I owe them alotta money. Ma im sorry. Nevaeh as a huge impact on my life. Its gone be hard to get outta this one."

"Keith your only fourteen. Do they know your age?"

"Yea they know. They don't care bout no age. Now go somewhere and hide."

Keith left and my ma don't know what to do. Why before my birthday this gotta happen.
