I Was There.

I fell for the melodies

The remedies reminding me of the nothing in front

of

me

Who'd have known I'd have flown

On my own

Who'd have known

I'd have figured out more from myself than anyone else

I remember who I was

it gives me chills and nightmares

I had never really known

That he was always right there

If I'd have never broke the chains

could I ever had lived the same

 So now I am tame

 and with trying there is no shame 

If nobody understands

I'll take my friends in my hand

and bring them somewhere grand

Somewhere I've learned to love

more than the place I seemingly had comprehend

I'd have never known if it weren't for him

But they don't understand

so I'll have to take their hands and guide them

For I was there too

everything was new

and seemed more a dream than true

So before I perish help them know there's more

More to this scape than they knew before
