A Plethora of Poems.

Labels.

They are emo

Or goody goody

Or some other thing

In which totally describes their entire existence

Right?

No it does not

For labels and stereotypes

Are only a fraction of a persons being

A small one at that

With a sad person comes happiness

For without it they could never be sad

With a good person

Comes a bad side

Even if it's there only a fraction

With bad there is good

With good there is bad

With right there is wrong

We cannot and should not label

The beings around us

For we are not to be covered with a sticker

Of ignorance and small mindedness

We are not what others perceive us as

We are us

She is she

And he is he

And I am I

And we are we

Nobody in this world can tell us

That anyone is only what they are labeled

For that would be an awful lie

That is unforgiving and isolated.
