Eyes.

To her, my eyes change shades of green

Some bright light rock candy

Some dark like a turtles shell

She knows not that to me

Her eyes become brighter

When she's exited

Or thrilled for a on coming future

Or glad to be where she is

Or exited for her current existence

Other times her eyes will be dull

A dark, dark dreary sight

Like a still blue ocean

Or a bright city's dark starless night sky

Or... nothing

The nothing that she looks at

The nothing that she feels in her heart

The nothing that she see's

Only because she has yet to learn

How to see the something

And when her eyes do see the something

..That in itself is something glorious

You can see the whole universe

Reflecting in her eyes

Right before yours

In the most wonderful way.
