How do you admire something you don't fully understand?
How do you admire someone you don't understand?
Watching, looking up to them as they look upon you
Not knowing what they think,
Or what they know,
Or fully what they say.
How do you grasp complexity so willingly?
Did you ever stop and find a hope and faith so strong
That your bones shutter at the acknowledgment
Of this deep set feeling.
Your mind drifts absolutely nowhere
While being absolutely everywhere else.
You think, what is this beauty?
Isn't beauty in the eye of the beholder?
What about things everyone find at least remotely beautiful?
Like sunsets?
Or colors?
Or hair?
Who is the beholder?
Who beholds all and molds all?
It is God.
A being that, for some reason, created beauty.
There is no bleakness,
Or organized marching of troops,
Or chains on our ankles,
Or forever lasting excruciation.
We are not gathered in homes of fire and fury.
We are not dictated to walk left, or right.
We walk whichever path we choose.
Both paths are decorated with different beauty.
One path is decorated with numbness and complexity,
The path in which you die.
The other is decorated with frivolity and love,
The path you will truly live on.
The first path is long and exhausting.
The other path is short and simple, yet dangerous.
It is up to you to choose your path,
Remember so that laziness does affect your overall route.
If you go left, you can cross to the other path later,
But there will be regret for what you faced on the left.
On the right, you can cross into the other path later,
But the journey will be more traitorous and physically bombarding.
Once you make it to the end, you will find a different place.
One may be eternal, and one may be not.
I hope whatever place you find makes you happy.
I hope that if you have a hard time transitioning from left, to right,
Someone will be there to guide you.
I hope that whatever path you end up in,
It is filled with the people you love.
I hope if you need guidance,
You come to me, friend of sorrow.
Do not become existential,
Because you have not yet made a fraction
In the overall path,
And will have a friend to guide you.
Good very luck to the rest,
May you be wished the very best.
