"What's your full name?" Tristin asks Lydia while she's brewing coffee for the customer Lydia is currently handling.

"Are you going to do a background check on me?" Lydia asks a smile stretching across her face, remembering to only a day ago when she thought he was stalking her. Tristin just gives her a pointed look meaning answer the question, Lydia rolls her eyes but does so "Lydia Payton Long," She states with an unknown look on her face while knowing her dad picked out the name yet never knowing him "What's yours?" She said trying to get rid of the thought and puts a smile back on her face.

"Tristin Dylan Henderson," He replies. He doesn't think about memories, not that he has to, but he wants to get to know Lydia without seeming like a creep. He has now accepted the fact that wanting to get to know her has nothing to do with the fact that he stayed in her house but that he likes her... as a friend. "So what about your family, you know about mine." He's not proud of his family so he wants to clear his mind with the little girl in front of him.

Little does Tristin know how good he has it compared to her. As Lydia is turned around not facing him at the moment she takes a breath and gathers her thoughts of what to tell Tristin. She doesn't want to lie, that's the last thing she wants to build the foundation of their friendship on. "Well my dad left me and my mom, I was too young to remember" She turns around to hand the woman that was obviously listening to her conversation due to the disapproving look on her face as Lydia hands her coffee. Lydia sees Tristin living up to his word and helping... in a way, he's cleaning the same spot waiting for her to continue. "My mom remarried when I was four to my stepfather. We lived close to here but to get to work we ended up moving closer, I'm guessing why that's why we haven't met before." She was proud of herself for telling the truth she just didn't tell the details. Now the problem was finding a question to ask, a good one, the important things like family and not candy, even if that thought intrigued her. "On the topic of family, any siblings?"

While she waits for his reply she helps the next customer "I have a little sister that stays with my dad, he moved a few towns away. Wanted me to come with him, but I was to set on not leaving my friends. Kinda wish I had taken his offer now." Tristin says with a regretful look on his face, thinking about what have could have been is getting him upset.

To get him from not falling to deeps and lightning up the mood Lydia speaks up "Well you wouldn't have met me, that would be such a shame wouldn't it. You may not be stuck washing the counter just to avoid school." He looks down to see the one spot of the counter practically sparkling.

"I need a new job the counter isn't working." Lydia looks over at the counter.

"I think that job is perfect for you. You made it so shiny to the fact I can see your reflection through it. Your staring at it as if it killed your puppy. What did it ever do to you?" Tristin just looks at her no emotion what so ever and if Lydia was just anyone she would be scared, but she's not and she tries to hold in her laugh but it ends up coming out anyway.

"What are you laughing at?" Tristin looking at her as if she reached her limit and fell over the edge, which she did.

"Did you see your face," She breathes out, after she recovers. "You looked like you had laser powers that came out of your eyes but it didn't work today so you thought a deathly look would be as good as lasers."

He just looks at her and shakes his head. "I need a new job," Lydia shakes her head no and continues to hand the customer his coffee. "Come on I'm doing one spot that can't be helpful." He pushes

Lydia gives in. "Fine, you can do the spot next to the one you were working on." She says as if she's sad with the fact she lost, along with a fake pout on her face. The crazy thing is she never needed to fake a put before, they are usually real.
