Lydia and Tristin are face to face in the booth they sat in last time. Lydia has a coffee and a muffin, while Tristin just has his coffee. They're currently sitting in silence with just the noise of the people around them. It's a comfortable silence where nothing needs to be said. It's the silence of just enjoying somebody's presence and not being alone. Tristin phone goes off disturbing the bubble of peace. Tristin checks his phone to see a message from Brett telling him that they're all meeting up at his house and asking if he wants to join. Tristin remembers that the guys said that she's super shy and barely talks to other people. So he messages Brett to see if he can bring someone; which he can. I mean who is Brett to say no to more people; he's a social butterfly.

"Brett messaged me, the guys are meeting up and messaged me to hang out." Tristin lifts his head up to see Lydia while talking to her. Hearing that, Lydia gets disappointed that he can't stay with her longer. She tells herself that he has a life too and he has other friends, he's not all hers. Doesn't mean she can't hope. Maybe it's because she doesn't get too much human interaction so she cherishes what she does get. The thought of going with him crossed her mind, but knew it wasn't her place to intrude. "And your coming with me." Tristin states.

"WHAT!" She starts to choke on a piece of her muffin. Throw everything out the window, all those ideas she had get rid of them. She never had them they're in the past, they move on from the past and she has done exactly that in a matter of seconds, who knew. She rather be curled up on her bed with Melody than having any communication with his friends. She swallows the piece of muffin that was stuck in her throat. "Uh nah ah. Nope, nada not happening. I have no idea what's going on in your mind." She points her finger in a circular motion up to Tristin's head. "But that is not happening." She shakes her head back and forth, her pony tail moves along, and gets in her mouth causing her to stop, to get it out. Just my luck, she thinks. While she's doing that Tristin asks a question that she doesn't know the answer to.

"Why?"

Lydia doesn't know how to respond. Sure she doesn't want to intrude but Tristin told her to go and she still declined, that's not intruding . She doesn't have social anxiety. It may seem like that but she was able to talk to Tristin with no problem. Whenever somebody asked her to hang out she always had to say no because of her mom and Doug. Maybe she's scared that his friends won't like her. She doesn't know. Maybe she's so used to saying no she's afraid to do something she doesn't know. Afraid of a change. So she answers honestly, she is however astonished that this is the one question she doesn't know the answer to yet it's so simple.

"I don't know." She looks up at Tristin.

"It's ok." Tristin can obviously see how mind boggling it is for her. "So will you go with me?" Instead of demanding it he realized she needs to make this choice herself.

Feeling confident she looks into directly into his emerald orbs watching her. "Yes."

This moment of determination and confidence quickly fades away once Tristin speaks with his smile showing. "Great! The guys are coming here to pick us up." Tristin quickly goes to his phone to reply to Brett. While Lydia just is staring at Tristin with her mouth agape. I mean come on she thought she was going to have more time to prepare herself. But NOPE Tristin just has to drop bomb after bomb. Is it ever going to stop? She thinks, probably not let's be real.

"W-what did you just say?" Lydia stutters.

Tristin snaps his head to look at Lydia, only now does she look put back together. "That the guys are coming?" He says slowly as if it's a question.

Serious Lydia is now in action.

She folds her hands together and leans forward while Tristin gets comfortable in his seat waiting to see what exactly Lydia has in store. "You see." She laughs a humorless laugh thinking he was insane; she wouldn't put it past him. "That isn't going to work."
