Lydia is awoken by her alarm. She pulls the covers off of her and slowly gets out of bed, due to soreness. She goes to the bathroom takes a quick shower and brushes her teeth. Even if she's not feeling great physically, mentally she's getting better by making new friends and the fact that she's going to be 18 and can leave just lifts her mood up even more. She puts on a teal cropped hoodie, black leggings, and black converse. The only thing is she's afraid someone will catch on to her ragged movements and Doug knows some people with the police that aren't good either and would help him out. So not only she wouldn't get to leave but get a worse beating by Doug believing she said something.

She cautiously makes her way up the steps, not that they would be up at this time. She gets a granola bar to eat on the way to the coffee shop, along with her keys. Making her way out the door, she sees that its sunny and she smiles.

Entering the coffee shop, she sees Nan with a coffee next to her designated for Lydia. Walking to the counter looking around the room to examine the type of people in there, she sees the man that requested to see Nan yesterday, not to mention looking at her. She thinks maybe he was here to apologize. She just hopes he got his coffee today.

"You look good today. Why?" Nan asks in a questioning manner. Curious of why she would be dressing so nicely after feeling so bad, it's never happened before.

Lydia just shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know I just felt like it." Nan nods her head understanding, but may have a suspicion at who caused this behavior. Lydia puts up a smile. "Thank you for the coffee." She grabs the coffee and takes a few sips.

"It's no problem, but you better get going before your late."

"Your probably right. I'll either see you later today or tomorrow." Lydia sets the coffee down to lean over the counter and hug Nan. Lydia loves hugging Nan it gives her a sense of comfort and love, it's not like she has many people to show her love, any type at all. She slowly retracts, gives Nan a smile and turns around to walk out the door to see the man still looking at her. She just shakes her head and makes her way out the door.

Tristin is walking into the school with his book bag on one shoulder and trying to find his group. Once he spots them he starts walking that way. "Hey." He says as soon as he reaches them. They turn and look at him.

"Hey, where were you yesterday?" Jayden asks. Tristin debates whether to tell him the truth or not. He's not sure if Lydia would be okay with it and he doesn't want to hurt her. She does openly talk to him in public though.

He shuffles on one foot and keeps it simple. "I was at a coffee shop."

"Whyyyy!" Brett playfully whines, with is face pouting. He dramatically takes a step and hugs him. "We just got you back you can't leave already!" Tristin is just standing still not sure how to react. Brett lets go and takes on a new person; a stern mother. "Now tell me what you were doing at a coffee shop for the ENTIRE DAY!" He points a finger a Tristin accusingly. Both Jayden and Chad are amused with smiles on their face holding in they're laughter. While Brett has a no funny business look on his face with arms crossed

"I was in the coffee shop with Lydia an-" Tristin gets cut off by Brett, does it surprise you though?

"Ooh Lydia! Nobody really talks to her. Come on keep talking!" Brett says obviously intrigued and took off the stern mother act, and the other guys follow not that far along. Tristin just rolls his eyes.

"She wasn't feeling great, so I stayed with her. We have math together so we learned a little bit about each other. If I were to come to school it would be worse without her, I wouldn't have any one to talk to or someone to help me." Tristin explains and cringes a little bit from the mushy words.
