EVAN'S POV

I woke up quickly, breathing hard. A dream. It was a horrible dream. I got up quickly and looked at my phone. There was no message. I ran out and ran to the door as a butler stopped me.

"Move." I snap at him as he doesn't move. I shove him out of the way and get into my car. I drove myself to Ziska's house to check on her to see if she was okay and when I arrived, Amanda and her mom was going inside with groceries in their hands. I got out and took their bags.

"Evan!" Amanda looks at me with her eyes wide and red. "What are you doing here?"

"Here, let me help you." I say as they lead me inside. Her mom says hi to me with a smile and helps me set down the bags on the table. "I was wondering where Ziska was. Is she around?"

"Evan...." Ziska's mom put her hands together and she looked worried. "Are you okay?"

"Uhhh yeah, of course." I nod my head. "Can I see her?"

Amanda looked down and then turned around. She took a deep breath and turned back around.

"Let's go outside." Amanda says as she takes my arm and leads me outside. I nod my head as we stroll around the place. "About Ziska...."

"Yeah? Where is she?!" I ask quickly. "I had this really weird dream about her. I just need to make sure she's okay."

"Evan, please get a hold of yourself!" Amanda yells at me. I watch her as tears form in her eyes. "I know that you're in pain too, but Ziska wouldn't want us to be attached to her for life."

"What are you talking about?" I ask, shaking my head and giving her a weird look. "I just want to know where she is."

"She's gone. They say she committed suicide...but I know she didn't. She couldn't. There is no way she could." Amanda says as I remember what had happened all of a sudden. I remembered running out of the hospital  after talking with the doctor. When I stepped out of the building and ran to the road, there was a huge commotion behind me in front of the building. People began to scream and yell that a girl had jumped off the building. I turned around and saw her. Bleeding to her death. My heart dropped in tragedy as I realized that my dream wasn't a dream but reality. I ran to my car, leaving Amanda there, and drove to the hospital where Ziska would normally be at, laying down watching the outside world from the small window.

When I arrived, I got out, and ran to the Ziska's room. It was cleaned. Nothing was left. A nurse came in after me and she smiled at me.

"Are you looking for something?" She asks. I sat down on the bed Ziska used to lay down on and slumped my back down.

"Yeah, sort of." I nod my head.

"Maybe I can help you find it if you tell me. We have a lost and found here." The nurse says.

"Sure." I followed her to the lost and found and didn't find anything that peeked my interest. I had no idea why I went there honestly. I went back into the room and the nurse looked at me with a sigh.

"Well, if it is really special to you, then we can help you find it." She says. I knew it. Ziska was gone. She only had a few days left. She was supposed to have lived a few more days but instead she just...left me. Alone. I got up and shook my head.

"It's okay." I say. "I don't think I can ever get it back ever again."

"Oh alright then." She nods her head and leaves the room after taking some sheets with her.
