I am curled into a ball, shivering.
Sunlight is piercing through the curtains, indicating that it's morning.
I guess I survived.
A picture of my family lies beside me. I pick it up delicately and pull it towards my chest.
I check the time.
8:07 am. Class starts in about two hours.
I sit at the edge of my bed and pause for a while before heading to the bathroom.
I splash prickly cold water onto my face, in hopes that I will feel better. My clothes drop to the ground as I turn on the shower.
Steam rises into the air and I hug myself.
The shivering has stopped but a slight chill clings to my body. I grab a towel and change into a fresh set of clothes.
A pile of underwear lies on the floor, reminding me to do the laundry.
Oh, the wonders of university life.
I stand in the waiting area munching on a granola bar.
I wonder if there is anything I forgot to pack for class.
